  • Let's call it "creative pronunciations" (Fourth Wing Ch 10-12)
In today's episode we discuss Fourth Wing chapters 10-12 . Dain is still a pain, Xaden has a decadent mouth, Violet is NOT breaking the rules, the gang doesn't look at dragon butts, multiple side characters die, we create our own spellings and pronunciations, and we establish that reading is just WEIRD.
Next week, we take a break from Fourth Wing to chat about weird dreams, things we hate in a books, and how social media has impacted reading.

We also discuss book elitists and how everyone should read what they want.

  • You All Need Therapy

This week we continue discussing Netflix's The Ultimatum season 2 episodes 5-8. None of these couples should be together, and everyone needs therapy. It's a little like ACOTAR, Kat can't be saved, someone can't apologize, there's too much trauma, Roxanne loves her cat more than Antonio, and should we really be watching this right now?

Next week, we'll be talking about the rest of 2023 and doing the TBR jar challenge. In two weeks, we'll wrap up The Ultimatum before diving into this season's book talk.

About Let's Call It Nothing

From the publisher's feed

A podcast where we talk about everything and absolutely nothing--we're just three former fangirls, who are honestly still fangirls reflecting on the tales of our youth. By tales, of course, we mean teen fiction and films of the 2000s and 2010s. Currently, we're discussing The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins. EPISODES EVERY TUESDAY.
