Please tell me I’m not alone. Maybe it’s because I’m 5’3” on a good day, or maybe I just don’t speak their language. Either way, I’ll admit they kind of scare me. Thankfully, I’m sitting down with the one and only Lord JM to chat all about what life is like for our friends born after 2010 and how each of us, whether we like it or not, are youth workers.
JM (or “future Bob Goff,” as I like to refer to him) also shares a great acronym from Michelle Icard that we can use when supporting the next generation. He promised to make this conversation the most chaotic our podcast has seen, and somehow managed to get us from Gen Alpha to my dating life, so I’d say he succeeded.
B - Begin peacefully
R - Relate
I - Interview to collect data (try ‘what’ and ‘how’ questions)
E - Echo back what you heard
F - Feedback

I just remembered I have a new channel to shamelessly abuse for personal gain. Listen in as I share the hyperfixation lore, the story behind the random (and slightly irrelevant) question that kicks off each episode, and of course selfishly continue my search for new ways to track down my snack hyperfixation.
Mint Chocolate Chip Trail Mix by Favorite Day at Target is my entire personality. Buyer beware before diving into this chaotic inaugural solo episode. (Don’t worry, I’m bringing back a guest for the next episode.)
And hey! Share your current hyperfixation in the comments, I'm always on the hunt for something new!!

Okay, can we be so real for a second? Creating healthy habits is hard. Bad habits? Those are way too easy to pick up!!
Listen in as I chat with Steve (and get inspired) about how he's building healthy habits for himself and helping his kids do the same!
If you’ve read Atomic Habits by James Clear, you’ll recognize the four laws we’re unpacking: Make it Obvious, Make it Attractive, Make it Easy, and Make it Satisfying. But the real secret? Habits stick when they’re tied to something bigger than just you. Whether it’s making an impact, building community, or chasing a mission, finding your why is what makes the difference.
Got a habit hack that changed your life? Share it in the comments! Steve and I are always looking for new ideas to steal.
Or, if you’re like me and need a little accountability, drop a comment and let us know what habit you’re building these days!

In honour of International Women’s Day, this episode is all about girlhood. Today, we’re celebrating the best parts of being a girl, from our favourite beauty products, movies, and songs to those iconic girly moments. But ultimately, the heart of girlhood isn’t just about the big moments, it’s about the in-between ones and the girls we get to do life with, the ones who see us through the highs and lows and celebrate with us through it all.
I’m beyond grateful for these two girls on the episode, Megan and Kaitlyn, who have been such a special part of my girlhood, always showing up, supporting me, and forever cheering me on.
And hey, guys of the Let’s Circle Back with Becs podcast fam, don’t check out, lock in! We’re sharing insight into the world of being a girly pop and even dropping some of our fave products, which you might want to grab for the gal pals in your life.
P.S. We would LOVE to do a review episode, so share your favourite beauty products in the comments! Megan and Kaitlyn recommended these, what are yours?

They say inspiration can strike anywhere, and my next guest is here to prove that’s true. It’s the one and only – Jags Alfred, my dad! If you know him, you know he’s a storyteller at heart, so I convinced him (it didn't take much) to come share some of the stories about the inspiration behind his ventures. From crying kids to theft to ancient farming practices, one of the things I admire most about him is his ability to ideate, innovate, and execute. Usually, it’s easy to do one of those three, but after this episode, he’ll have you fired up and ready to tackle all of them because, as he says, “Hey, how hard can it be? Everyone else is doing it.”
And in case you’re wondering, no, I'm afraid the apple does not fall far from the tree.

She’s beauty, she’s grace, she’s… Nancy Meyers. Ria’s back in the studio, and we’re chatting about our absolute fave—Nancy Meyers! Her movies feel like a hug, her aesthetics are flawless, and her storylines are, well, perfectly perfect. We’re breaking down why the Nancy Meyers aesthetic is taking over and how you can bring it into your own life.
And!! Ria is sharing her Nancy Meyers Aesthetic playlist with all you Spotify users! Save this for the next time you’re hosting friends for a glass of wine (think Jane in It’s Complicated), figuring out seating charts for your wedding (think the Banks fam in Father of the Bride), crying over a boy (think Amanda and Iris in The Holiday), or trying to pretend you have it all together in the office (think Jules in The Intern). We guarantee this is the playlist for you.
Find the Nancy Meyers Aesthetic Playlist here!!

We’re circling back on all things personal finance today with Noah! Most people know Noah for his YouTube fame or videography work—but I’m starting a rumour that he’s wise about all things investing too.
While he may not be a financial advisor, he’s sharing some ideas on how you can approach your savings so they can start growing and working for you.
We’re chatting about time horizons, risk tolerance, savings accounts, the S&P 500 (USD), the TSX Index (CAD), the stock market, ideas for approaching investing, and tips you can implement right away to get started.
Noah recommends checking out VOO and ZSP.TO if you’re interested in ETFs (Exchange-Traded Funds) that track the S&P 500.
