What's Your Dream...One of the main issues facing the United States is the national debt that is being passed on the next generation. Founded by Rochelle Baltimore,  Dream In Motion, a non-profit organization, was formed to mentor, train and create a nationwide network of entrepreneurs and community outreach givers. The concept is to help kids from the age of 5 and older with time management, goal setting, and making step by step plans to reach their dreams and make them a reality. Rochelle has a passion for working with children. During her days as a professional dancer with Dallas Black Dance Theater, she taught underprivileged children in the foster care system private and free dance lessons and taught at an alternative school for troubled high school students.  After being hit by a drunk driver in 2012,  Rochelle combined her background in teaching and engineering (she worked at IBM and Oracle) and founded Dream In Motion. They’re BackRuth’s Miracle Group Home Foundation has grown and is serving even more women and children in Southern Maryland.  Founder Ms. Veronica Alston and her staff rejoin us on the show to talk about their new endeavor, a home for homeless women and children.  Ms. V’s Place opened early this year to respond to the need Ms. Alston saw in the community. This expands her already impressive outreach that started in 2009 with the opening of Ruth’s Miracle Group Home, a transitional facility for at risk/homeless women.  She saw a need to accommodate women and their children and added Ms. V’s Place.  RMGH Foundation provides a safe haven and a chance to start life over.  The overall goal for every client that joins their family is growth and development that results in full independence and a self-sufficient lifestyle. Join Mark and Carolyn as we talk to Ms. V and her staff about what’s up with the foundation – both at the original women’s home and their brand new facility.  We’ll be broadcasting live from Ms. V’s place.  Enjoy what is always a lively and uplifting conversation with the ladies from RMGH.

A Father’s Love for His DaughtersThere is no bond quite like the bond between a father and a daughter. From him she learns how a women should be treated, how to have a healthy self-image and to dream big. She acts like she hates his overprotective nature but really that is what keeps her feeling safe.
