Asha Degree; born August 5, 1990) went missing at the age of nine from Shelby, North Carolina, United States. In the early morning hours of February 14, 2000, for reasons unknown,

she packed her bookbag, left her family home north of the city and began walking along nearby North Carolina Highway 18 despite heavy rain and wind. Several passing motorists saw her; when one turned around at a point 1.3 miles (2.1 km) from her home and began to approach her, she left the roadside and ran into a wooded area.

In the morning, her parents discovered her absence. No one has seen her since.

Ruth just vanished without a trace on Box Hill "The Ruth Wilson Case" UK-1995

Ruth Wilson is a British 16 year old teenager from Betchworth, near Dorking in Surrey, England who disappeared on 27 November 1995. As of 2021, her disappearance has not been solved.

At around 11.30 am, Wilson took a taxi into Dorking.

Around midday, she ordered flowers for her stepmother. Ruth asked that they not be delivered until the following Wednesday. Wilson spent the afternoon in Dorking Library.

Around 4 pm she took a taxi from Dorking railway station to Box Hill. She was dropped off on a bridleway a short way from the Hand in Hand pub (now The Box Tree) on Box Hill. The taxi driver stated that Ruth displayed unusual behaviour in that she simply stood still in the rain as he drove off.

This was notable as the taxi driver observed that people typically walk away after they have been dropped off. In other reports the taxi driver stated that Wilson appeared to be looking round for someone. The taxi driver was the last person to see her at 4.30 pm.

At the time of her disappearance Ruth Wilson was wearing a red knitted jumper, black velvet trousers, black pixie boots and a small lady's watch on her left wrist. She had a small blue duffel bag with a personal stereo and tapes.

On November 9, 1996, Adam, Trevor, and Mitchell O'Brien (aged 14, 11, and 4) went to visit their father and non-custodial parent, Gary O'Brien, at his home in Torbay, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.

At 8:30pm that night, Gary called Diana Boland, his ex-wife and the boys' mother and custodial parent, and told her that he was not going to return the boys to her and had rigged his house so that it would explode if anyone entered it.

When Diana asked to speak to the boys, Gary told her "later" and hung up.

Adam, Trevor, and Mitchell and Gary O'Brien have never been seen since.

Alex Sloley had been staying at a friend's house in Edmonton. He left there around noon on 2nd August 2008 to return home for his birthday, but never arrived.

When he disappeared, he had little money and no change of clothes. Alex did not have his passport with him.

He had a mobile phone with him, but it stopped connecting when he went missing. His disappearance was uncharacteristic.

Police found nothing to indicate where Sloley may have gone.

James Nutley was 25yrs old when he went missing on 24 October 2004.

He had gone with about 20 friends from Caldicot in Monmouthshire on their annual golf trip to Tenby. After arriving in Tenby, the group went out for drinks.

He left the Prince of Wales pub in Upper Frog Street at 23:40hrs to go back to the Giltar Hotel on the Esplanade where he was staying.

Described as 6ft 2in with brown hair, he was wearing a white top with blue sleeves and blue jeans when he was last seen.

James was captured on CCTV at 23:57hrs crossing the road from the beach side towards the Atlantic Hotel.

Martin Doyle, known as ‘Murt’, was 20yrs old when he left home at Churchview, Suncroft, Kildare in Ireland at 11.20 am on 4 October 2004.

It was a cold October morning and he said he was going to the shop but left without even taking his coat. He left the keys to his scooter with his mother, as he was due to get it repaired. He also left his bank card and the wages from that week’s work had not been touched.

But he did take his mobile phone, the phone continued to ring out for 3 days after his disappearance and then stopped.

The last official sighting of Martin was at 11.30hrs standing by the statue across from the church in Suncroft. It is believed he was waiting for a lift from someone.

Martin is 5ft 7” of slim build, with short brown hair, blue eyes and a pale complexion. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a navy Adidas jumper with a white stripe on the sleeve, navy tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.

On Boxing Day evening in 1996, best friends Patrick Warren and David Spencer left their Chelmsley Wood homes to play outside. Patrick left on his brand-new bicycle, which had been a Christmas present, while David was on foot.

The boys had been spotted by a police officer earlier that afternoon playing with another group of children in Meriden Park, where they had been warned by the officer not to play on the frozen pond.

After returning home, they told their parents of their plans to visit one of Patrick's brothers that evening.

Derek Warren, another of Patrick's brothers, went looking for the boys the next day when he found out that they had not arrived.

The last known sighting of the boys was just after midnight by a petrol station attendant who gave them a packet of biscuits.

Patrick's brand-new red Apollo bicycle was found abandoned behind the petrol station near the bins, although the police did not realise that it was his until several weeks later.

Paedophile and serial offender against young boys Brian Lunn Field became the prime suspect in the case after his conviction in 2001 for abducting 14-year-old schoolboy Roy Tutill in his car and then murdering him after offering him a lift.

Field had worked as a self-employed gardener in the area for several local families, had access to open ground in the area, and was a regular drinker in pubs close to the boys' homes.

Field had also worked as a gardener for the family of the boy killed in 1984.

On 23 April 1976, Sandy Davidson was in his garden with his little sister Donna playing with their dog.

They were being looked after by their grandparents, who had gone inside the house at the time.

The gate flew open, and their dog ran out.

Sandy ran out, trying to catch him.

Work ground to a halt on the new building estate nearby to search for Sandy, but nobody has seen him since.

Andrew Gosden disappeared from Central London on 14 September 2007 when he was aged 14. On that day, Gosden left his home in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, withdrew £200 from his bank account and bought a one-way ticket to London from Doncaster station.

Missing persons campaign 2021

April Fabb born 22 April 1955 and disappeared 8 April 1969.

She was 13 years old at the time of her disappearance. She went missing between the villages of Metton and Roughton in Norfolk, England, United Kingdom.

At around 2:15 pm, her blue and white bicycle was seen lying in a field near Metton by two Ordnance Survey workers; a passing motorist later took it to a Cromer police station. She has never been seen since.
