This weeks Murder Morning is back .
Looking at some of your comments with regards to these cases. Angus Sinclair, Gorden Hamilton (The Worlds End Murders) Plus the Penelope Jackson case. Loving all your comments on these cases.
Plus a chat about little Cleo Smith who was found just seven minutes’ drive away from her family home. She was found alone in a locked house 18 days after she was snatched from her tent on a family camping trip. Four-year-old Cleo disappeared on October 16 and was found alive at 12.46am on Wednesday when police stormed a public housing home after a sudden tip off. A 'needle in haystack' clue.

Penelope Jackson has been found guilty of murder on 29 October 2021 after stabbing her husband to death following a row over a birthday meal.
Jackson told the jury her husband was coercive and physically violent towards her, pushing, shoving, and strangling her. She said Mr Jackson valued loyalty and she would have felt disloyal if she disclosed to anyone the abuse she had suffered at his hands.
The court heard she had called the police in December last year when he smashed a glass door with a poker during a row over the TV remote control. Jackson's daughter, Isabelle Potterton, told the court Mr Jackson was last violent towards his wife "more than 20 years ago".
Jackson, 66, attacked 78-year-old David Jackson with a kitchen knife at their home in Somerset on 13th February 2021. She stabbed Mr Jackson, her fourth husband, three times with a kitchen knife at their home in Berrow.
The killing followed a row over a serving of bubble and squeak with a gourmet meal bought for them by their daughter. The pair had eaten the meal with their daughter and son-in-law, Isabelle, and Tom Potterton, on a Zoom call as the birthday took place in lockdown.
Mr and Mrs Potterton told the court they believed the row had blown over before the call ended. But later, Mr Jackson called the emergency services after he had been wounded, and his wife stabbed him again while he was on the phone.
He was heard screaming in pain as she drove the knife into him for the final time.
Jackson then took over the call, saying: "I've killed my husband, or tried to, because I've had enough." She then told a call handler her husband of 24 years was "bleeding to death with any luck."
Bodycam footage, released by the police when they went to the couple's home on 13 February, she told officers "I stabbed him, I've had enough" and that she "should have stabbed him a bit more."
Also, Penelope told a 999 call-handler that she had tried to stab David through the heart but that “he doesn’t have one.”
On Friday 29 October 2021, a jury of eight women and four men found Jackson guilty of murder before being sentencing her to a minimum of 18 years behind bars in the same afternoon at Bristol Crown Court.
Judge Martin Picton said that she had shown "not a shred of remorse" for the killing and had sought to portray her husband as a "monster". "Whilst there was no doubt, as in any marriage, points of friction that the lockdown would have exacerbated.
I have no doubt that he was nothing like the person you have claimed ... You took the life of another human."

This video also covers his other murders and assaults (Catherine Reehill, age 8, Mary Gallacher aged 17 plus 13 charges of rapes and indecent assaults committed against young girls.
The World's End Murders is the colloquial name given to the murder of two girls, Christine Eadie, 17, and Helen Scott, 17, in Edinburgh, in October 1977.
The case is so named because both victims were last seen alive leaving The World's End pub in Edinburgh's Old Town.
The only person to stand trial accused of the murders, Angus Sinclair, was acquitted in 2007 in controversial circumstances.
Following the amendment of the law of double jeopardy, which would have prevented his retrial, Sinclair was retried in October 2014 and convicted of both murders on 14 November 2014.
He was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 37 years, the longest sentence by a Scottish court, meaning he would have been 106 years old when he was eligible for a potential release on parole.
This video is for mature audiences only. References to offences against Children, sexual, physical and racial abuse, paedophiles/rings.
This week’s murder morning is all about your comments regarding the cases from last week, Lee Boxell, Kevin Hicks and Reece Collins.
Your comments are amazing, they really lend themselves to much deeper discussions that I know many of our Partners in Crime will find very interesting.
You have giving me lots of information on what was happening around Croydon at that time, so much so I am now working on these cases.

Three-year-old Cheryl Grimmer, originally from Bristol, vanished from a shower block in Wollongong, New South Wales, on 12 January 1970.
Back in 1968 the Grimmer family were embarking on their new life on the other side of the world.
Their bright future was gone in an instant following Cheryl's disappearance from outside a shower block on January 12, 1970. The theory was that she had been kidnapped. This was backed up by witness reports at the time who claimed to have seen a man holding Cheryl, wrapped in a towel, up to drink water from a fountain and who then ran off with her. There were also claims she had been driven off in a white car.
Then, just over a year after Cheryl vanished a local teenager confessed to the killing. Due to his age the boy was never identified. In police interviews in the early 1970s he reportedly confessed to the killing and that he had "intended to have sexual intercourse" with her before carrying out the murder.
Despite this, officers did not have enough evidence to charge the youth and the case was closed.
There was finally hope for the family when the case was re-opened in 2016 and the man was arrested and charged the following year. The man, then 65, pleaded not guilty to Cheryl's murder in September that year.
He had been due to stand trial putting an end to almost 50 years of misery for Cheryl's family but the case has now been dropped and his interviews from the 1970s deemed inadmissible.
Detectives investigating the suspected murder of a British toddler abducted from an Australian beach 50 years ago are offering a million-dollar reward.
Cheryl's brother, Ricki Nash, said he hoped the reward, equivalent to £528,000, would bring justice. He said: "There are no words to describe the pain of losing a sister and the impact Cheryl's disappearance has had on our entire family. "Every day we are reminded of the tragic way she was taken from us, and we hope this reward is what is needed to bring justice for Cheryl."

Trigger Warning: This content is for mature audiences only. Within this video are references to paedophile rings, Child Murders and suicide that may be upsetting to some viewer.
Case (1) Reece Colins: 15 years old was reported missing after failing to return home one evening in 1985, his parents were told not to worry as he had not been gone 24 hrs. After several more hours and additional reports to the police Reece's father Roy set out with the family dog to search for him.
While searching local parkland the dog led Roy to a cluster of trees where he found Reece hanging by a belt from a tree. Initially, the case was ruled as a death by experimentation, but the family claim evidence does not support this. An inquest three years later overturned the initial finding and Death ruled an open verdict instead. In this video, I discuss other theories on what could have happened to Reece.
Case (2) Kevin Hicks, 16, went missing in 1986 while walking home from the local shop in Addiscombe, Croydon. On 2 March 1986,
he spent a normal day with his family at their home in Sissinghurst Road, Addiscombe. At around 8.30pm he told his mum he needed to buy some eggs for his O-level home economics exam the next day. He left with £1 and headed off to Sperrings community shop, a couple of minutes’ walk away in Lower Addiscombe Road. Kevin was last seen by someone who knew him at 10pm in Shirley Road, walking in the general direction of home. He was never seen again, and his parents Derek and Terry died without knowing what had happened to their son.
By 2016 his only surviving relative was his sister Alexandra Hicks, living in Sutton. Detective Inspector John McQuade, who was leading the investigation, said looking at the incident with fresh eyes he recognised signs that the boy was groomed.
Kevin had been receiving expensive gifts in the weeks leading up to his disappearance, he did not tell his parents about these gifts. This was discovered after he went missing.
In 2017 the Metropolitan Police issued a new appeal to the public and offered a £20,000 reward for information leading to a conviction. John McQuade, said: “Kevin simply disappeared that night and was never seen nor heard of again."
Case (3) Lee Boxell (we have made a video on this case: it can be found here: https://youtu.be/4PIrhOlg3-8) Lee disappeared from the London Borough of Sutton in England on 10 September 1988, aged 15. He was last seen in Sutton High Street. Lee attended an unofficial youth club in the annexe of St Dunstan's Church in Cheam, known as "The Shed", which was previously unknown to the police. Following extensive inquires the police found out that paedophiles were operating in the area at the time Boxell disappeared.
William Lambert, the St Dunstan's Church graveyard digger who ran The Shed, was jailed for 11 years in 2011, when he was aged 75, after sexually abusing four girls who attended the club. Detectives were also investigating the possibility that Lee himself was sexually assaulted and later died. In this video, I discuss other theories on what could have happened to Kevin and Lee. These will include references of the paedophile ring “The Dirty Dozen Gang”.
There is plenty of evidence of grooming rings operating in that area of London around this time, Essex and Met Police were even carrying out an investigation titled Operation Stranger, to identify and break up these groups.
Could all these boys have fallen foul of these kinds of predators and was the angle fully investigated at the time?
Anyone with information is asked to contact the incident room on 020 8721 4005 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

The body of Anthony Walgate, 23, was found outside the flats on Cooke Street, barking in the early hours of Thursday June 19, 2014; the first of four drug-related murders of young men carried out by Port over a 16-month period.
In his 999 calls, Port claimed not to know what happened to Anthony Walgate but later told police they met for a sexual relationship, inquest jurors heard.
Port was later convicted in March 2015 of lying to police about the circumstances of Anthony Walgate’s death, but by that time he had already killed his next two victims Gabriel Kovari, 22, and Daniel Whitworth, 21, the jury was told.
Fellow victims were found dead by the same dog walker on August 28 and September 20, 2014, respectively, in a corner of the walled cemetery near Port’s address.
he final victim, Jack Taylor, 25, was found on the other side of the stone wall on September 14, 2015.
Port, now 46, was found guilty at the Old Bailey in 2016 of the four murders and sentenced to a whole life order.
Over the next few weeks an inquest jury will hear how Port murdered Walgate, 23, Gabriel Kovari, 22, and Daniel Whitworth, 21, and Jack Taylor, 25, with fatal doses of the drug GHB between June 2014 and September 2015, and sexually assaulted many other men.
The inquest aims to look at the competency of the Met Police in investigating the crimes, which were at first ruled to be non-suspicious drug overdoses.

A MAN convicted of murdering three generations of the same family more than 20 years ago has died in prison, it has been confirmed.
David Morris, 59, killed Mandy Power, 34, her bed-ridden mother Doris Dawson, 80, and her daughters Katie, 10, and Emily, eight, at their home in Clydach, near Swansea, in June 1999.
All four had been bludgeoned to death with a pole before their house was set on fire.
The former builder was jailed for a minimum of 32 years, having been convicted for a second time of their murders in 2006.
A Prison Service spokeswoman confirmed Morris died at HMP Long Lartin in Worcestershire, where he was serving a life sentence.
HMP Long Lartin prisoner David Morris died on August 20 2021.
Morris had long maintained his innocence and last year a programme by BBC Wales Investigates questioned the safety of the conviction.
It featured interviews with two potential witnesses – one who said he had never spoken to police and the other who said he contacted police to report what he had seen but nobody ever called him back.
South Wales Police said they had spoken to the two men and sought advice from the Crown Prosecution Service, who said no information had been provided that undermined Morris’s conviction.
