We watched The Substance which currently is nominated for Best Picture, Best Actress for Demi Moore, Best Director, Best Original Screen Play, and Best Hair and Makeup, but did we like it? We travel back to 1970 Italy to the birth of the giallo film and the movie that made them a worldwide phenomenon. We watched Dario Argento's The Bird with the Crystal Plumage, did we like it? Happy Holidays, we watched The Silent Partner a Curtis Hansen written, Elliot Gould starring mall santa, bank robbery, cat and mouse, suspense film. We really loved it and we hope you will as well. 

As we end this month and this season of Let's Scare my Girlfriend to Death let us reflect on maybe the ultimate disappearance horror film the French/Dutch co-production of The Vanishing. A movie that gives us a frighteningly realistic take on what the disappearance of a loved one does to a person and the type of person it takes to just remove someone from society. Did we like it?
