This week on the 'Lets Talk Leadership' podcast we were joined by Frank Schlesinger who is the CTO at orderbird which is the provider of the award-winning iPad POS system for restaurants based in Berlin.

Frank’s interest in computers and software started at a young age and after studying a degree in Computer Science, he began his career in Tech as a Java Application Developer. 

Frank explained that his journey into leadership was a gradual transition and that throughout his career he always had a natural instinct to “call the shots” whilst helping and guiding others. We loved hearing about Frank’s leadership style and how he approached knowledge sharing and team building. 

Still as passionate and motivated as when he started his career, Frank offers some fantastic advice to our listeners about how he faces and overcomes challenges including the pandemic and the financial impact that has had on many businesses’. 

It was amazing to hear about Frank’s passions and what keeps him going. 

Frank offered valuable tips on how to become a great leader, stress management and he also highlighted his recommended reading material of books that have changed him as a person… tune in to find out what he recommends!!!

This week on the ‘Lets Talk Leadership’ podcast we were joined by Dr. Sophie Chung who is the CEO and Founder of Qunomedical.

Finding out about Sophie’s career and learning about her journey into Tech was extremely interesting. Sophie describes her career as ‘unconventional’ as she never expected her journey to pan out as it has. With Sophie’s career starting off in a very academic role as a Medical Doctor and a Stem Cell Researcher, it was truly gripping to hear Sophie’s story and how she transitioned into Technology.

Sophie’s bravery to travel in order to enhance her career is inspiring and really adds excitement to her already amazing story!

Throughout the podcast, we learned about the challenges Sophie has faced, the valuable advice she has received over the years, and how she created her company’s core values. Not only has Sophie successfully steered the direction of her company during the COVID crisis, but she also did it whilst bringing a baby into the world!

For any of our listeners who are interested in the process of setting up start-ups, this podcast is the one for you. Sophie explained the process of setting up her company and it is commendable how much hard work she has put in to get to her current position.

This week on the ‘Lets Talk Leadership’ podcast we were joined by Henrique Boregio who is the CTO at Primephonic.

Primephonic is a fast-growing music streaming service that has been dubbed by the media as ‘the Spotify of classical music’.

Our hosts, Sandra and Elly started the podcast by asking Henrique about his career background and how he found himself working within the world of Tech. Henrique’s intrigue for Tech started a young age and from there, his interest and passion grew more and more. Originally from Brazil, Henrique went onto study Software Engineering in Argentina, following this he began his working life as a Software Engineer.

Henrique is well travelled and has not been afraid to take risks within his career including landing and accepting roles in locations he wasn’t familiar with.

With Primephonic being a start-up, it was great to hear how Henrique problem solves and the challenges that the company face. Henrique offered some fantastic advice to our listeners on how to overcome challenges, especially for those working or aspiring to work for start-up companies. 

It was inspiring to hear about how Primephonic is consistently growing and how Henrique approached setting the culture of his team. Throughout the podcast, Henrique offers valuable lessons that we hope all of our listeners can learn from.

This week on the 'Lets Talk Leadership' podcast we were joined by the fantastic Danny Vatnik who is the CTO at Personetics, a FinTech software company headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Danny took us on his honest and interesting career journey. Danny started his working life experimenting with different industries… from the music business to the army! Eventually, he found himself in the world of Tech and it was great to hear how he got here.

Danny gave us an honest insight into the industry in Israel which was extremely interesting. We particularly enjoyed hearing Danny speak about how he attracts and retains great talent.

It was inspiring to hear how Danny overcomes challenges that he is faced with. His positivity shines throughout the podcast ensuring a very uplifting and empowering listen!
