As is now tradition, we have a special International Men's Day episode of Solent Mind's men's mental health chat, Let's Talk Mate.

October marks Black History Month, and as part of that we wanted to host a discussion around black mental health and ways we could increase the access to our services from these communities.

Despite higher prevalence of mental health issues, Black adults have the lowest mental health treatment rate of any ethnic group, at 6%.

Duke Harrison-Hunter won a Football Blacklist Award for his work in the community in Portsmouth, and Frank Manga is an author as well as being the founder of Funky Fit Boxing.

They shared their stories, and their thoughts on how we could encourage more people to seek mental health support.
