Columbus's ships brought racism and slavery to our world by taking slaves back to his. He brought atrocities and genocide all in the name of God and greed; not necessarily in that order.

So when does a practice become a custom? Church, alcohol, patriarchy, patriotism? None of these were ours before white men brought them. They are with us now. But are they our traditions? Is this now a part of our culture? Is this our identity?

The truth I hold self-evident is that the war for independence was not about all men being equal. This war was fought over the greed of a colonial aristocracy bent on their own expansion of wealth. That wealth could only come with new appropriation of lands which required the genocide of Native peoples and the expansion of slavery. Both of which Great Britain was obstructing. This was the "tyranny" these British colonists were willing to kill their countrymen over.

Who is defending Native to Native trade? Eric White seems to be alone on this one. The Yakima Nation defended and submitted briefs for one of its wholesalers. Where is the Seneca Nation for Eric? Where are all the nations Eric supplies that maybe at risk for inventory?
