We have to admit, the gym can be a pretty intimidating environment especially if the only workout you know is jumping jacks. Throughout the pandemic, most of us have probably tried to attempt a quick '5 minute ab workout' in the comfort of our bedroom but now that gyms are re-opening the gym is seeming a more daunting place than ever before. We discuss our fears of the gym and how we have tried to overcome them. 

For many, the onset of struggling with their body image is brought about by their experiences of bullying. In this part, we talk about how bullying has become more subtle over the years and what our generation are doing about it. Have a listen! 

We've all been tempted by those 'how to lose 5kg in 3 days' ads on YouTube and Instagram ... in this part of the 'Body Image' series, we talk about truth behind crazy diets, why they don't work for everyone and the distinction between diets vs moderation. 

If you are battling an unhealthy relationship with food, we urge you to seek help by contacting your local GP or talking to an adviser at Beat (a charity for EDs) . It can be immensely difficult to admit that you have a problem and are in need of help and so talking to a family member as a first step may make things easier.

In this part, we open up about our experiences with body image. We rant about those annoying aunties and uncles with their 'fat jokes' and how this affects us in our journey of accepting our body.
