More millennials are interested to start investing. However, especially in Singapore many are not well informed and therefore do not have the confidence to get into it. There are many potential risks that might not be considered. Primarily, a lack of time, a lack of funds and a lack of knowledge are the factors driving potential investors away. Investment apps provide avenues for these new investors to take on and overcome these challenges, increasing confidence and reducing risk.
We speak to Ian Leong, CEO, uSMART Singapore about how the uSmart app makes this investment journey easier especially for the younger generation.

Synopsis: The Straits Times analyses the latest developments in China in this weekly podcast.
The Straits Times' China bureau chief Tan Dawn Wei chats with Money FM 89.3's Elliott Danker.
Chinese President Xi Jinping and US President Joe Biden could be having a video discussion about global security issues in the next one to three months. Their dispute over Taiwan continues to get more heated.
Domestically, President Xi's economy is dangerously slowing, financing for his Belt and Road Initiative has tanked and his Zero Covid policy is flailing. However, we have not seen any objections within China's leadership to any of his policies.
