Duncan's friend Brother Paul is in town with his choir of Monks to give a performance. He hasn't been off holy ground for over 300 years. But when he doesn't show up after the show, Duncan begins to worry. Anne is having trouble at the hospital when two of her patients die unexpectedly, and Joe is arrested for selling drugs out of the bar. All this is the work of immortal Kalas, who holds a grudge against Paul, and MacLeod

Religious leader John Kirin is hit by a speeding car and dies at the ER, only to wake up and walk out unharmed. Duncan investigates and finds out that Kirin used to be known as Kage, and Mac is none to pleased to see him. Has he really turned over a new leaf as he claims? Or is he still the greedy, deceitful immortal MacLeod used to know?

Young Immortal Michael is taking the heads of those much older and stronger than him. But he's not doing it alone. Rita Luce, a Watcher, is helping him. And when it gets out that Dawson has a personal relationship with MacLeod, it leads to some conflict between everyone involved
