On this episode of Level Up with Coach K I'm sitting down with Toriq Ahmed. Throughout the show we discuss the impact sneaker culture has had in the world of sports, culture, and television. We sprinkle in our thoughts on losing KOBE BRYANT, sports during quarantine, and the art of overcoming setbacks. My guest of honor is an inventive, clever narrator of the culture! He currently serves as the Senior Editor of a Sneaker Media Page called COSIGNKicks, which is a sneaker page dedicated to sneaker release dates, community and culture. He has teamed up with the Dallas Sneaker boutique Centre for a T-shirt collab and he recently hosted a sneaker battle to raise money for the marshal project and color of change. He’s a visionary leader and a free-spirit, who always has some heat on his feet!

He received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from UT-Arlington and he is currently the Writer and Creator of the Fiasco Comic! He's determined to have our stories told by people who look like us, and who truly understand the culture. The goal is to create dope stories and characters that make you laugh, cry, scream at the tv, and maybe even open your mind to new possibilities. He wants everyone who's chasing the dream to remain faithful and know that their time is coming soon! He's rooting for everybody Black!

On this episode of Level Up with Coach K I'm sitting down with Patrice Greene. Throughout the show we discuss diversity in higher education, celebrating black excellence and being proactive. My guest of honor is a PhD student studying Student Affairs Higher Education, and International Education Policy at the University of Maryland, College Park. Her higher education experience covers college advising for high school students, housing and residential life, fraternity and sorority life, and recruitment. Her research interests cover how to best support Black women and girls in educational spaces as well as using museums, archives, and oral history as a method of storytelling and creating community for Black women. She received her bachelor’s degree from TCU in 2013 and received her Master’s in Higher Education from the University of Denver in 2019. She has worked as a research assistant on a project detailing undergraduate student involvement and as a research assistant for Seeking Grace, focusing onthe experiences of Black alumnae. Along with her work and research experience, she co-authored a chapter within Case Studies in Equity, Diversity & Inclusion in Higher Education: An Intersectional Perspective. The publication provides tools for professionals working or studying within a higher education setting. Additionally, she co-owns an editorial and educational consulting business, ForeverWriot, with two other phenomenal Black women, Kahlea and Ozy. My guest of honor is Patrice Greene

My guest of honor describes himself as just a guy from around the way, but I believe that his journey has molded him into a multifaceted man with many talents. He currently works as a Project Engineer with a private owned firm associate of Proctor and Gamble. He runs his own blog entitled, “Tecumseh X” were he shares his loves for travel, fashion and being an inspiration through his actions and integrity. His personal motto is, “Hard work pays off. Smart work pays better.” He’s focused, determined, and he’s one of my favorite men of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated. My guest of honor today is Tecumseh Graham.

He believes in using his platform to be of service to others and he shows his gratitude by putting on a Toy Drive for the kids in the community every year. He’s an absolute beast on the 1’s & 2’s and he has mastered his craft. Some of his accolades include receiving the Business of the year award from the UTA chapter of (NAACP). He has DJ’d For J$PH (JOSEPH) AND MR MARC D, Worked with Lil Ronny, and Yella Beezy. He has opened up for Big Sean, Joyner Lucas, Gucci Mane, and French Montana. Promoted some of the biggest parties hosted in Texas such as the (TB Retreat, LATEX, and the Dallas Greek Picnic). He’s the cohost of the MTS Podcast with Marc d (Follow them 👉🏾@mtspod_ ) and he’s the resident DJ at Blue Ice Daiquiris. Lets just say he works hard and he gets those deposit!

Miesha is the queen of knowing how to get the bag, flip it and keep it. She currently works as an accountant and servers on the finance committee for her company. She received her degree in Finance from UTA and she received her stock broker’s license within that same year! She is all about supporting the culture and creating opportunities for others. She’s the co-founder of Being This That and Black, which is an online platform that highlights black excellence and black businesses. She’s one of my favorite ladies of Delta Sigma Theta sorority incorporated.
