This conversation got real deep, real quick. You see, my roommate and I were in the middle of a heart-to-heart, and brought to tears reflecting on our own faith journeys. At that moment, I realized that we wanted to let YOU in on this conversation too! We all need encouraged in our own faith journeys from time to time, and in this episode, Audrey and I get candid, discussing how we learned to actually grow in our faith, what we've changed our minds on with regards to Christianity, and what "living out your faith" tangibly looks like.
In this episode, we cover: misconceptions about Christianity, why obedience is actually important and not just a stupid rule, what the point of having a faith is, how we've gotten it wrong, and what we are committed to doing moving forward!

It's our 1 year Podcast Anniversary! And I just want to gush about how much I love YOU. But also, it's time for me to let you in on what's been going on in my life behind the scenes the past couple months. In fact, statistically speaking, I know that 55% of you WILL.
I MAY discuss a new relationship in my life (wink), as well as work woes. You know exactly what I'm talking about if you've been experiencing them too. I share about my thoughts on work/career/jobs, why I think so many in the workforce are facing anxiety, depression, burnout and more. If you are struggling with your job...I'm believing that this episode will help. ❤

The struggle IS real. How am I supposed to understand if I’m hearing from God, or if it’s my own brain making it up and my thoughts getting in the way? I brought in the best person I know to discuss this topic of understanding how to hear from God and KNOW that it’s Him talking and not just you.
Kels Johnson is a dynamic communicator, pastor, worship leader, and just an all-around amazing human, and I'm thrilled to have him on the pod!
In this episode, we discuss how Kels hears from God frequently, and how he is able to discern whether it's just good or whether it's God, what to do if you feel like you can't hear from God at all, what could potentially happen if you don't obey when God says GO, and so much more!

The problem is, learning how to read the bible isn't something I've observed many churches talking about. We cover a lot of ground in this 25 minute episode, so buckle up, and let's go!
3:23 - What's the point of reading the Bible?

8:30 - First step to take when preparing to read the Bible?
11:35 - Where should I start reading if the Bible is new to me?

I started working on film sets in 2010...but in 2016, my career in the Hollywood film industry took a very unexpected twist, when I became a professional stuntwoman. Though an extremely unconventional approach - chasing my actual dream of working for Disney in any capacity - I share how that pursuit led me to something so much wilder than I could have EVER imagined! Join me on this final Summer Story with Zoe for 2021, and let me tell you what God did!

I can't even lie...this story is WI. LD. So wild I needed to split the word in two. 2010 became a pivotal year for me, and today I'm recanting the very unconventional path I took to becoming part of the film industry...and how the proximity principle can assist in making your dreams a reality!

Decided to switch things up for the summer, with a new series called "Summer Stories with Zoe!" Per the request of some listeners who wanted to know more about ME, I [Zoe, the podcast host] am getting really candid and sharing about some of the experiences that have made me who I am today. In each story, I share a major life lesson learned, so that we can continue to have conversations that BUILD us! Grab a coffee, or your favorite drink, and sit down with me as I open up and let you in on some of the biggest moments of my life.
In todays' episode, I share about the traumatic bullying experience I faced in high school, and why looking back on it, I can say that I am so unbelievably grateful that I went through it, because it changed my life forever.

To be honest...this episode was for me LOL. I am having the hardest time focusing and being disciplined lately, but maybe you're in the same boat! I invite my friend Jay Ly onto the pod and we have a conversation that goes from focus, to discipline, to leadership, to what bosses can do to help their employees focus, and much more. I think everyone will be able to relate to at least one aspect of this conversation, so we are thrilled to have you be a part of it!
The book Jay mentions mid way through the episode is called "Attributes: 25 Hidden Drivers of Optimal Performance."
Give Jay a follow on Instagram @gcfinancialfreedom, and thank him for being a part of this episode! He is a leadership coach, a personal finance coach...and honestly...he is practically a life coach too. I can attest from firsthand experience! He's an unbelievable encourager and if you're looking for some sort of coach to help take you to the next level...I give Jay my highest recommendation!

Leveled Up Friendships is a show for adults who want richer, more meaningful friendships — but sense that something about their relationships isn’t quite working the way they…
Maybe conversations feel surface-level. Maybe you’re always the one reaching out. Maybe a friendship feels tense, draining, or confusing and you’re not sure why. Or maybe you simply want friendships that are deeper, more honest, and more supportive than the ones you currently have.
On this show, host Zoe Asher explores the real dynamics behind adult friendships — the unspoken expectations, awkward conversations, misunderstandings, emotional blind spots, and growth moments that shape our relationships.
Through honest reflection, practical questions, and real-life examples, Zoe helps listeners become more self-aware and intentional in how they show up as a friend. Because the fastest way to improve your friendships isn’t trying to change everyone around you — it’s learning how to level up the kind of friend you are.
Episodes explore topics like navigating difficult conversations, repairing strained friendships, recognizing one-sided dynamics, reconnecting with old friends, setting healthy expectations, and building friendships that can handle honesty and growth.
If you’ve ever wondered:
-Why do some friendships fade while others grow stronger?
-Why do certain relationship patterns keep repeating?
-How do you build friendships that actually last?
You’re in the right place.
Because great friendships don’t happen accidentally. They level up when we do.
