What's it really like on Mars in Rifts? We've got all the bugtastic details in this episode. Plus, we detail how you might use the Coalition in a Mars campaign, Starship Troopers style! There's advice for building player characters and also info on GMs looking to run a Mars campaign. It's kind of spooky!

Happy Holidays from Ley Lines and Lore! I almost didn't put out an episode this week. But I knew you'd want some holiday cheer in your feeds. So I decided to pull back the curtain on a little bit on what I am working on for 2026, Patreon plans, and how I make the podcast. It's a bit shorter than usual, but I think it's better than getting a drop of an episode you may have already heard. I hope you are able to get some rest and spend time with loved ones this holiday season. We'll be back next week with a brand new episode!

I wish I were free, free to roam the Zone wherever I wished. I would hurl snowballs from the Asteroid Belt one day then fight off a mutant bug from Mars for my dinner the next. What is it like to be a Freebooter in Rifts: Mutants in Orbit? We've got the info for you right here!

This week we explore the Zone, a region of space around Rifts Earth (and ATB Earth) where space stations and the lunar base vie for supremacy. We also take a closer look at what's going on at Mars and the Asteroid Belt. If you want to run a or play a Rifts adventure in orbit around the Earth, this is the podcast to listen to!

We LOVE dragons! And Rifts dragons are extra fantastic. Whether it's the red fire dragon, the poisonous thunder lizard, or the goofy yet lovable wooly dragon, this episode has got some great dragon lore, dragon character ideas, and dragon options for your next campaign. Smooth out your scales and give this one a listen.

It's an insane amount of monsters and playable races! And there's also some rules clarifications and conversion notes on playing super heroes and fantasy characters in Rifts. Don't let the title fool you. By page count, this is a monster book. But there is oh-so-much more to talk about as well.
