Galway senior ladies football captain Kate Geraghty was among a group of over 50 Gaelic Games players who recently travelled to Uganda as part of the 'Plant the Planet Games' initiative.
Fourteen players from Galway were involved as they planted trees along the River Nile, visited schools in the local communities, and officially opened a new handball alley.
