Today America is filled with lies. National lies are indicative of national destruction. “Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit” (Ps 34:13). Political lies establish a false narrative and promote the evil thinking of the cosmic system. Lies are designed to confuse you so you can’t make the right decisions. God despises lying (Prov 6:16-19). Satan is the father of lies. We all have a sinful nature and are prone to lying. Learning to live a spiritual life contains the tongue. “Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord but those who deal faithfully are His delight” (Prov 12:22). Organized religion is the number one liar. Salvation by works is a lie. Morality is equivalent to spirituality is a lie. The best thing you can do does not impress God.
