Breaking News: There's been another assassination attempt against Donald Trump. No one died this time, I guess the Secret Service will count this as a win.

There was a debate between Donald Trump, Kamala Harris, and two moderators. Harris' lies went unchecked while Trump's truths were "fact checked".

Kamala Harris has officially been selected as the Democratic candidate for president. The same people who love to claim Trump will destroy our democracy, have selected their candidate in a most non-democratic of manners.

RFK Jr. has dropped his bid for president and endorsed President Trump. He could have endorsed either candidate, but likely felt that Trump was mor in keeping with his own civil libertarian leanings.

The Olympics is over. Good riddance. Now, back to politics...

We haven't forgot about the assassination attempt against President Trump, or how the myriad failures suggest a pattern of willful negligence. Was it a case of homicide by indifference?

VP candidate Tim Walz has embellished his military service. When he got the call to deploy, he had other plans. He was more interested in launching his political career than serving in a combat zone. You know how did serve in a combat zone? J.D. Vance. The Democrats are blissfully unaware of their own image when they call someone like J.D. Vance "weird".

We're still talking about the Olympic-sized debauchery that was the Olympic opening ceremony. Aside from outrage, how should we who are Christians feel and do about it? Persecution has been a part of the Christian experience since the very beginning, and it's been a lot worse than mockery, even today.

All the sudden, the left has discovered the word "weird" and started applying it to JD Vance, Trump's running mate. Maybe before accusing anybody else of being weird, the Democrats should look at some of their own media and celebrities. We may be weird, but at least we're not sick SOB's.

Just in case you forgot that the Olympics were a corrupt, globalist organization, the opening ceremonies were enough to remind you where their values lay. One of the opening ceremony events made a mockery of the Last Supper, an event sacred and at the heart of all Christianity, and also a famous painting by Leonardo. But the scene that depicts Jesus and his disciples at the Last Supper in the painting, became depictions of a Bacchanalian feast attended what's plainly members of various LGBTQ communities in the Olympic presentation. Attempts to rationalize the performance and tolerant and inclusive are laughable. Accordingly, many Christians were outraged. The IOC has given and halfhearted apply and has memory-holed all depictions of the event online.

So much has happened since the last podcast when I covered the assassination attempt against former president Trump. Trump picked his running mate, JD Vance from Ohio. He then accepted the GOP nomination for president. Meanwhile, the head of the Secret Service has avoided taking any consequences for her failure. Finally, President Biden has dropped his bid for reelection. The Democrats will now have to decide what to do with current VP, Kamala Harris.
