Some thoughts after watching the memorial for Carlie Kirk: Anger was an appropriate emotion to feel in the days immediately following his murder, but now it’s time to move on. There was little to no anger in the voices or content of any of the speeches. The main focus was on Kirk as a Christian. That’s how he wanted to be remembered as opposed to being a political figure. Time will tell how he’ll be remembered but he got his wish today. The memorial did what memorials are supposed to do, allow mourners to advance to the next stage of grief.

The idea of the “tolerant Left” is a myth. There is a tolerant Right. The fact that there are not riots, arson and looting going on now by Kirk’s supporters and American Conservatives in general proves that. We all know what would be going on now if a prominent figure on the Left had been murdered. Charlie, as a devout Christian would not approve of any violent reprisals in his name.

Democrats endorsing of a Nobel Peace Prize for Trump comes with a catch. Don't be fooled by their recent rhetoric. The Left will NEVER accept Trump winning the Nobel Peace Prize. What the Democrats are really doing with this so-called praise is raising the bar for Trump to get the Prize to an almost impossible height. The fact is, Trump should already have one, and has earned the award several times over with a half-dozen successful peace deals already. But what Clinton and other Democrats are doing is making Ukraine peace the new standard.
