Members Reviews:
New book titled "OPTIMISTKA" by Galina Briskin is a good spiritual and moral energizer.
I have received a very good impression from the book written by Galina Briskin. I am not a literary critic, but I qualify the OPTIMISTKA as a very deep, high quality and educative literature. The itself process of reading the book gave me a pleasant feeling that the one could feel by drinking a fermented noble wine. That's why I felt sorry and sad to close the last page of the book. Polina made me to believe once again that optimism is always a leading force in creativity, in our everyday life, in our work. It always helped her to win and to get out of difficult situations. Here is , for example, a quote from the book: "Polina lost a lot of money, almost all of her properties, but she has not lost the confidence in her success. Her passion in the work , to what she did, it always helped her in difficult periods of life. Do not worry, everything that happens is always for the better. She already has worded a new goal"( pages 245 and 259). Throughout the entire book the heroine was able to mobilize her inner power to achieve her goals. All the situations in the book have one or another positive resolution. The whole book is riddled with such life-affirming maxims. As a result, a reader gradually, as the reading, is convinced of the possibility of a positive solution of its own both current and future vicissitudes of life. Thus this remarkable book makes you believe that "all impossible is possible"! As for me by reading this book I felt together with her heroine the energy of happiness and optimism.

Book for everyone
This is a wonderful story of a wonderful life! After watching the Interview with Galina Briskin on You Tube, I realized that the story of the heroine Polina is a story of a real person, the author herself . This makes the book "Optimistka" even more intersting . The novel is about the life of a very strong, but soft and sensitive woman who was able to achieve so much in the new country in spite of the all barriers. Everything in her life is amazing - the way she brought her family to America, people she met, her career in the new country, and her romantic life.
The novel will be interesting to all readers - former and future immigrants to the United States and other countries, as well as readers in Russia.
