Las escuelas locales ya están preparando y educando a familias para que  aprendan que serán los pasos necesarios para vacunar a sus estudiantes  de 5 a 11 años de edad. El señor Marcos Mejia nos da los detalles.

Brandon Butler, Assistant Deputy Director of the Department of Fair  Employment and Housing, came to educate us about the many abuses that  happen with agricultural workers and what their rights are. He  encouraged the community to report abuse and your immigration status is  not a barrier. Our colleagues from Labor Law are also available to  support individuals who work in agricultural labor.

Part of preparing and succeeding in college has to do with having role models who can guide us. Immigrant parents often haven’t been privileged to have gone to college and this is why hearing the experiences of other undocumented students can make a difference.

Know Your Rights When Dealing with The Police Robert has been educating community members on their rights when  interacting with the police. Thousands of individuals get stopped by the  police yearly while protesting peacefully or walking down the street.  You will learn what you should do and how you should behave to be able  to stay safe when interacting with the police. #KnowYourRights

Rocio Torres-Murphy, Senior Victim Advocate, for Sonoma County District  Attorney's Office speaks with us about October being Domestic Awareness  Month and the need to empower individuals to make the call for support.  There are many services available for victims and we need to support  them through this process of finding an end to the violence. #covid #togethertowardhealth #domesticviolenceprevention
