Part of preparing and succeeding in college has to do with having role models who can guide us. Immigrant parents often haven’t been privileged to have gone to college and this is why hearing the experiences of other undocumented students can make a difference.

Know Your Rights When Dealing with The Police Robert has been educating community members on their rights when  interacting with the police. Thousands of individuals get stopped by the  police yearly while protesting peacefully or walking down the street.  You will learn what you should do and how you should behave to be able  to stay safe when interacting with the police. #KnowYourRights

Marcos Mejia from the county of Sonoma came over to give us an update as  to the possible changes for vaccinated individuals and whether or not  they will be required to wear a mask. Peter trabaja  para la organización LBGTQ Connection (www.lgbtqconnection.org) la cual  asiste a jóvenes y otras personas para que sobresalgan y tengan apoyo de  diferentes agencias en la comunidad.  Muchas personas en la comunidad  Latinx no aceptan que sus hijxs son LGBTQ y Peter ofrece apoyo para que  estas personas no sufran de depresión y se dañen.
