Sometimes miracles can be those things that both did and didn't happen.
Like, "I can't find my stupid car keys." 
Then, you finally found them 10 minutes later.
As you turned on your car and tuned into your favorite radio station, you heard the terrible news...
"The Great Bridge Collapse.
Had you found them 10 minutes earlier you would have been involved in that major catastophe.
God's timing is no joke... It's very real (precisely on time).
Now, concerning Jesus, and "His showing up"; If only 8 of the 365 foretold prophecies and specifics concerning the Messiah were to be fulfilled by one man the odds would be about 1 in 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (Octillion).
Jesus fulfilled all of the 8 needed to make Him on Octillionaire ... plus 357 more perfectly on time (making Him a Nonillionaire [30 zero's]  x THERE ARE NO ODDS).
The timing of God is precise and Jesus is the real Messiah, He is alive, and He is returning very soon!
The timing of God in your life is no less amazing.
It's  reality  is worth getting tuned into.
Let's not live like an ignorant, hard-hearted, proud-minded, fool.
Let's live a purposeful and meaningful Life in step with the timing of God's plan.
Let's get a fresh visitation from Jesus by asking Him to "Come on over"... He has, He does, and He will.

There are times when we've all fallen short of finishing what we started.
I've done it at least once when I've tried repairing my automobiles.
Also, even though I don't really like it, hard times happen in each of our lives; at least once.
There are important truths found in the Life of Jesus that are helpful for us all who are dealing with or at least know what we're talking about concerning facing very challenging, and difficult times in life.
The good news is we don't have to face hard times on our strength alone.
Jesus loves us, understands us, and wants the type of relationship in which he is invited to help us overcome past failures and current difficulties together with Him.

Timing is everything.
If the "timing" of our car is off the car doesn't function properly.
The same goes for our lives.
Living  our lives according to our own agenda  is like driving a car that isn't "on time".
Our timing is off.
God keeps perfect time.
When Jesus shows up... He is right on time!
When we follow Him, we're in perfect timing.

Have you ever been stuck in a job you are good at but are not challenged to grow or develop into anything or anyone different?
It known as, "Jellyfishing".
The SSDD lifestyle.
Jesus calls us from those places into a whole new way of living life.
It's known as being born-again as a citizen of the Kingdom of God!
Jesus now says, "Flollow me, and I will make you..."
If He needs to reign us in a little that's easier than trying to motivate a boat anchor to swim.

What's another word for being preoccupied with becoming and staying  financially wealthy?
Greed.
Gorden Gekko, in 1987, said, "Greed, for lack of a better word, is good."
Many culture's including our very own actually elevate the need for greed.
Often, people who aren't wealthy (and greedy) are sneered at and joked about as being suckers and simpletons.
People try to hide or disguise greed in order to keep their secret to wealth well hidden from the "uninitiated.".
Some people are so wrapped up in the culture of wealth they don't know any other way.
I believe the latter is true of the rich, young, ruler we are looking at in this episode.
He was "happily wealthy" (only some of the time).
There's more going on in this story than mets the eye.
Let's open it up and unpack some of the treasures...

I've had  a fantasy view of life if everyone in it would have just done what I imagined most everything would have been great.
The fantasy I invented and believed would have been the best reality for me and others to live in.
If only everyone (including God) would have just seen things my way.
But then...
But then you showed up.
But then a real "idiot" showed up.
But then my past showsedup.
But then God showed up.
What happens when Jesus shows up?
What happens when Life actualy shows up and reveals to us all of His Reality?
If truth can be stranger than fiction (and it often is), then Reality is, by far, better than fantasy!

If you have experienced or know someone who has experienced serious relationship issues, this is a pretty good podcast episode to tune into.
To say that everything is just "Fine" even though it's far from being "Fine", is like us saying we that love the new clothes the emporer is wearing, even though he's naked.
To finally get real help begins by us admitting that we have a real problem.
Then, and only then, will we be given the power by God to change and stop trying to merely look good and convince others that everything is just "Fine".
It's exhausting and a poor example for our children for us to keep living a life of fantasy.
Reality is hard at times but it is also so much more enjoyable to live in than for us to live a life of lies and fantasies.

When I was a young child I used to think that we all basically thought the same way and saw the world the same way.
Then life began revealing more of itself to me.
The truth and reality of differences began taking place in my mind.
It didn't take too, long to see and understand that we are all really different with  only a few similarities.
At first it was troubling until I hit puberty and discovered the opposite sex.
Viva  la difference!
I was glad to be different.
I didn't want to be a girl because I liked the difference(s). 
That's a difference between sexes.
You get the point.
In this episode we're talking about differences regarding life experiences concerning our relationship with God.
There's only One Way to experience a realationship with God and it's through placing our faith in Jesus Christ.
However, there are many types of experiences that lead us up to the actual divine exchange of life in covenant with Him.
We no longer need to develop our own standards for life or experiencing relationship with God.
We put an end to all petty insecurities, competetitions, jealouslies, pride and prejudices.
We are one together in the One and only True God!
He is the One to Whom we will measure ourselves by throughout eternity.
Our personal and comunity relationship is our On-Going Experience with the Eternal Life of God!
