Somewhere between raising families, building careers, running businesses, and taking care of everyone else, many women lose touch with the person they once were.
In this episode of Life Begins After Busy, we're exploring what happens when you finally pause long enough to ask yourself an important question:
Who am I beyond the roles I play?
We'll talk about the quiet midlife awakening that so many women experience, why it's never too late to reinvent yourself,
and how small steps can help you reconnect with your dreams, passions, and purpose.
If you've ever felt like you've spent years putting yourself last, this conversation is your reminder that your story isn't over. In fact, it may just be beginning.
Because life doesn't end after busy—it begins.

So many of us have spent years being the one who shows up for everyone else…the dependable one, the strong one, the one who keeps everything together.
But what happens when saying yes to everyone else…means constantly saying no to yourself?
In Episode 2 of Life Begins After Busy, I’m having a real conversation about what it looks like to outgrow old versions of yourself—especially the one that always says yes, even when it doesn’t feel right.
We talk about:✨ People-pleasing and where it comes from✨ Why saying no feels uncomfortable (and sometimes even selfish)✨ How constantly putting yourself last leads to burnout✨ And how one small “no” can begin changing everything
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stretched too thin, or disconnected from your own needs… this episode might be exactly what you need to hear.

In this opening episode of Life Begins After Busy, we explore the quiet but powerful moment when life finally slows down and you begin to ask yourself a question many women in midlife feel, but don’t always say out loud: what about me?
After years of being everything to everyone, mother, partner, caregiver, business owner. It’s easy to lose connection with yourself without even realizing it. This episode dives into the emotional and mental shift that happens when you move out of survival mode and into awareness.
We talk about what it really feels like to be constantly busy, why so many women feel unfulfilled even when life looks “fine” on the outside, and how that inner nudge for something more isn’t selfish, it’s a sign of growth.
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply ready for a new chapter, this conversation will help you slow down, reflect, and begin reconnecting with your voice again.
Because your story isn’t over… it might just be getting started.

Growing in Midlife & Creating Freedom Online
There comes a moment in midlife where you start asking yourself… is this it?
After years of working hard, showing up for everyone else, and doing all the “right” things—you realize you still want more. More freedom. More peace. More control over your time and your income.
That’s where my journey into digital marketing began.
I didn’t come from a tech background. I didn’t have a perfect plan. But I knew I couldn’t keep trading all of my time for money and hoping things would magically change.
So I chose to grow.
Not just financially—but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I learned new skills, stepped outside my comfort zone, and started building something online that could support me without burning me out.
Digital marketing gave me a way to create income with intention…To build systems that work even when I’m not…And to finally feel like I’m designing a life that fits me.
And if you’re in that place right now—feeling ready for something different, something more—just know this:
✨ You’re not behind✨ You’re not too late✨ And you are absolutely capable of creating your next chapter
This isn’t about overnight success. It’s about building something real… step by step… that gives you freedom over time.
And you don’t have to do it alone 💻✨Growing in Midlife & Creating Freedom Online

There is a moment many mothers experience in midlife that no one really talks about.
Your kids are growing up.
Life begins to slow down a little.
And suddenly you realize you’ve spent years taking care of everyone else.
That’s exactly where I found myself.
After raising my kids and working for nearly three decades as a hairstylist, I realized I had reached a place of burnout. I had spent so many years focusing on my family, my clients, and my responsibilities that I had forgotten to ask myself an important question… what do I want now?
Turning 50 changed something in me.
I began creating again. I started making jewelry during the pandemic, something I had never done before, and it awakened a creative side of me that had been quiet for years. Around the same time, I discovered meditation and began learning new skills that helped me see that life still had so many possibilities ahead.
Midlife is not the end of the story.
In many ways, it is the beginning of a new chapter.
In this video I talk about:
• Why so many women experience burnout after raising their children
• The shift that happens in midlife when you begin thinking about yourself again
• How creativity can open a new path
• Why learning new skills today is more important than ever
• How fear and procrastination often hold us back from starting something new
If you’re in midlife and asking yourself “What’s next for me?”, I hope this conversation reminds you that there is still so much ahead.
In this very first episode of Life Begins After Busy, I share why I rebranded from The HomeGirl Factor and what this new season truly represents. This conversation is about self-love in midlife — not the surface kind, but the deep, intentional kind that changes how you think, speak, and show up in the world.
I talk about how writing your dreams down, meditating, setting boundaries, and caring for yourself from the inside out can help you rewire your mindset and step into your next chapter with clarity and peace.
If you’ve been living busy but feeling disconnected, this episode is your invitation to slow down, reconnect, and begin again.
