To be "on brand" - quite basically - means that whatever you're creating is consistent with the look, feel, messaging, tone, voice, etc. of everything else you've produced to date. It's consistent with the reputation you have, the brand you've built

This new series we will be looking at what the brand of Christianity should look like. I believe these are marks of disciple, a follower of Jesus. So, instead of asking “what’s in your wallet?” You might look at it like, “What’s in your heart?” And more importantly, “What’s in your behavior?”

As we look at the last three words and the final words by Jesus on the cross, we begin to understand why a hardened soldier would be moved by seeing the extraordinary things he heard and saw. What is the final phenomena? Torn curtain, earth quake, rocks splitting open, dark sky for three hours, the dead rising from their graves. Wouldn’t you start asking some questions about the death of this man?

Let’s look at these next three stations, 10, 11 and 12 and the words: spectacle, reward and testament. We are no longer walking the path that Jesus took. Instead, we are standing, watching, powerless to change anything that is happening. We want to leave or look away, but like Simon, we are compelled to find out what happens to this innocent man who will stay on the cross and finish the job he came to do. These three stations of the cross and three power words put us in the middle of dark and difficult human emotions. Feelings of abandonment, frenzied hatred and inhuman treatment by bullies.
