Barbara Bartolome has had 2 Near-Death Experiences (NDEs); once as a toddler & once at 31. She previously held a SECRET status clearance with the U.S. Dept of Defense & in 2004 was named Businesswoman of the Year in Santa Barbara, CA. She founded the Santa Barbara group of the International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS) in 2011; it has grown to be the largest on the West Coast. They meet monthly, feature guest speakers, educate the public about NDEs & connect the NDE community.
