We’re getting an update on the AFRICAN WOMEN IN DIALOGUE which is currently underway in .UNPACKING THE THEME:STRENGTHENING THE WOMEN’S MOVEMENT ON THE CONTINENT
8th African Women’s Decade and in the time of the resurgence of active
feminism seen across the world, this panel will reflect on the status of the African
Women’s Movement and its effectiveness in the last decade in changing the lives of
African women. In recent years, the Movement has been criticised for having lost its
autonomy, vigour and vigilance and thus complicit in the deepening of challenges as well
as reversals of some of the development gains made by women on the continent.
What is the current status of collective organising within the movement and how can it be
strengthened to be more responsive to the new and persistent challenges facing women?

Women of Fortitude is a campaign that seeks to drive the conversation of how women today from all ages and background can continue the legacy of Ma’Sisulu who would have turned 100 this year. The purpose of the campaign is to ignite passion in the women of South Africa to commit themselves to the values and principles of Albertina Sisulu.
But how easy is it to ignite this passion in a country that has systems that are still unjust to women? How do women rise to become women of fortitude when they have to toil and fight ten times harder for everything?

The Department of Social Development is hosting the first men's Parliament in Cape Town on Monday. This is in response to gender-based violence in the country to mark International Men's day since 1992.

Elton Mduduzi Ntuli was born in 1985 on 6th MAY in Siyabuswa, South Africa.
He studied Mechanical engineering at Ekurhuleni West College.
He displayed the love of comedy when he tried to emulate what he saw at the Strictly vernac DvD. It consisted of Mashabela Galane among others. He later on made his debut at Meropa Casino that was hosted by his favourite Comedian Mashabela, M’du as he is known in the comedy circle.
Elton Mduduzi has also won award for his performance in the comedy industry.
