Our world is facing unprecedented times.  A global pandemic of catastrophic proportions, social injustices, unrest, uncertainty, the list goes on.  Despite all of the cards that are stacked up and the many things that are great challenges, we can be agents of change and the positive spark that others need.  You and I have what it takes within us to come together and in our own unique and special ways to leave our mark and make our planet a better place.  It is our obligation, but more than that, it should be our mission.  Let's embody the words of Jackie Robinson who said, "What is life worth other than the difference we can make in the lives of others."  Be a difference maker!

Baseball Miracles is a tremendous non profit organization I am heavily involved in.  Recently we ran a virtual 5K which raised over $5,800 for impoverished youth around the world who we serve on mission.  Together we can make a difference in the lives of underserved youth.  You can be a miracle maker.  It's time for us to step up to the plate and continue to take a swing at poverty while bringing hope and be that beacon of light to children in the U.S. and abroad!  Join us as we show up in the lives of others so we can spread even more joy and love because that is the Baseball Miracles way!

Each of us is called by God to labor in His vineyard.  We all have unique gifts, talents, and a call on our life.  Today we discuss heeding that call and serving others by sharing God's love with our world.  Each of us is called to holiness and we can change our world by sharing the hope of Jesus Christ through the way we live.

Investing can be challenging at any point in time and involves some risk.  During a Global Pandemic and with seeing such huge swings over a number of months, it becomes that much more challenging.  Yet, it is important to continue to invest so we can win with our money.  During today's episode I discuss how to navigate the market and other areas we can invest in to safe guard our portfolio over the long haul.  Don't panic, slow and steady wins the race.

Sports are back and the games are better than ever.  After a hiatus of nearly 200 days, we are now enjoying the games we all love.  Today I discuss and break down the NBA Playoff match ups to date, talk about the upcoming NFL season on the verge of kicking off, and explore a trip around the bases in the MLB.  I also commend the athletes for using their star power and voice to elicit change in society for the cause of social justice.

Each of us faces difficulties in our lives.  Life can get hard, but there is a glimmer of light and a ray of hope that is out there.  God wants to see us all get through the tough things and to live with true joy that only He can provide.  During the darkness or the valley moments it is crucial that we dig deep & cling onto our faith.  During these times we must seek out the light and allow it to infiltrate our lives.  When we continue to trust and walk by faith God breaks down walls and barriers and leads us to a brighter future.

During this episode of the podcast we hear from Maddi, Jenna, Nicole & KC, current students and an alum at VALPO University located in Indiana. Back in March I had the privilege to serve with them on Mission as we worked for a week on the Native American Reservations in Macy Nebraska. Along with HOPE of the Poor, the VALPO Catholic students served and showed up to bring the love of Christ to the children and people who live there.
