  • DAY 11 | She Considers a Field and Buys It

Today, we focus on Proverbs 31:16:

“She considers a field and buys it; from her profits she plants a vineyard.”

We see just how prudent and thoughtful the Proverbs 31 Woman is.

She doesn’t make decisions carelessly. She considers. She plans. She invests. And she’s wise with what has been entrusted to her, she knows how to multiply it.

And I think there’s something here for all of us as believers.

God has entrusted each of us with something, our gifts, resources, opportunities, ideas, influence and even our time. The question is: how are we stewarding it?

Good stewardship isn’t simply about keeping what God gives us. It’s about using it wisely, multiplying it and ultimately using it for His glory.

  • DAY 10 | She Rises While It Is Yet Night

    Proverbs 31:15 says:

“She also rises while it is yet night, and provides food for her household, and a portion for her maidservants.”

There’s a common misconception about this verse—that the Proverbs 31 Woman is being praised simply because she wakes up extremely early to take care of everyone.

But there’s more to it than that.

This verse paints a picture of a woman who is proactive. She doesn’t just wait for things to happen; she plans ahead and makes sure her household is properly provided for.

And notice something else: she has maidservants.

She isn’t doing everything by herself.

She knows how to lead, delegate, receive help and create structure around what she has been entrusted with. Being capable doesn’t mean carrying everything alone.

🎙️ On today’s episode of Life with Moyor on Creators, I shed more light on Proverbs 31:15 and what it teaches us about planning, leadership and stewardship.

  • Day 9 | She Is Like the Merchant Ships

“She is like the merchant ships,She brings her food from afar.” - Proverbs 31:14

On today’s episode of Deconstructing the Proverbs 31 Woman, we take a deeper look at the resourcefulness of this remarkable woman.

The imagery of merchant ships shows us a woman who is willing to go beyond what is convenient. She takes initiative. She looks beyond what is immediately available to her. She is diligent, intentional, and willing to stretch beyond her comfort zone to build, steward, and provide well for her household.

And I believe there’s something here for us too.

Resourcefulness is an important part of our walk with God.

God has placed gifts, abilities, ideas, wisdom, and resources within our hands, but part of stewardship is learning how to translate what He has given us into something that can be useful, fruitful, and beneficial to His Kingdom.

The Proverbs 31 Woman reminds us that we don’t always have to be limited by what is immediately around us.

Sometimes, resourcefulness requires us to look further. To learn. To build. To seek opportunities. To take initiative. And to make the most of what God has placed in our hands.

She is like the merchant ships.

She is willing to go the distance. 🤍

  • DAY 8 | She Works Willingly 🤍

Proverbs 31:13 says, “She seeks wool and flax, and works with willing hands.”

What stood out to me is willing hands.

She isn’t simply a woman who works hard. There’s something about the posture of her heart towards the work in her hands.

She works willingly. There’s intention, purpose and excellence in what she does.

Today, we’re unpacking what this teaches us about work, willingness and the heart behind what we do.

  • DAY 7 | Trust Is Built Through Consistency

Trust isn’t built in a single moment

It’s built in the everyday moments that often go unnoticed.

Proverbs 31 shows us that trust isn’t the result of perfection, it’s the fruit of consistent character.

    The little things matter.
The unseen things matter.
Faithfulness matters.

In today’s episode, we’re unpacking why consistency is one of the strongest foundations of trust.

  • DAY 6 | The Heart of Her Husband Trusts in Her

One thing I’ve been learning is that Proverbs 31 isn’t just telling us what this woman does—it reveals the kind of person she is.

Before we read about her work, we first see the fruit of her character:

“The heart of her husband trusts in her…” (Proverbs 31:11)

    Trust isn’t demanded. It’s cultivated.

In today’s episode, we’re unpacking what this verse really means and why it begins with trust before it ever mentions her works.

  • Day 5 | Worth Beyond Rubies

One thing I’ve been asking myself is this:

    How does God measure worth?

Proverbs 31:10 doesn’t compare this woman to silver or gold. It says, “She is worth far more than rubies.”

Today, we’re slowing down to understand why God chose those words and what they reveal about the value He places on a woman of wisdom and character.

  • Day 4: Why Chayil Matters | The Strength Behind the Proverbs 31 Woman

What if the word virtuous doesn’t fully capture what the author intended?

In today’s episode of Deconstructing the Proverbs 31 Woman, we continue exploring the Hebrew word Chayil and why it’s so significant. Throughout the Old Testament, Chayil is used to describe strength, courage, capability, excellence, and even mighty men of valor.

So why would the author choose this word to describe the Proverbs 31 woman?

Together, we’ll explore how her identity is established before her responsibilities, and why understanding this one Hebrew word changes the way we read the rest of Proverbs 31.

    Key Scripture: Proverbs 31:10

    Reflection Question:

Am I more focused on copying her actions, or allowing God to shape the character that produced them?

  • Day 2: Who Can Find? Deconstructing the Proverbs 31 Woman

Before Proverbs 31 describes the woman, it first asks a question:

    “Who can find?” (Proverbs 31:10)

Why does the passage begin this way? Is it simply asking where she is, or is there a deeper meaning behind these words?

In today’s episode of Life with Moyor on Creators, we slow down to unpack this opening question and begin discovering the wisdom hidden within the text, through the lens of Scripture and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
