This is such an exciting episode, we have our first ever guest on The Leah and Paul Podcast today!!!! Here with us is Jenna Starkey, Paul's fiancé and Leah's younger sister.
Jenna is currently working as an Associate Executive Director at the YMCA, a position she has worked towards since she was sixteen years old. Covid forced her to reevaluate her goals, dreams and aspirations, as it did to many of us, and ultimately sent her searching for a new career to help fill her up in this new season of life she is approaching. She has joined us to discuss the real life feelings that come with a career change. She courageously shares with us her fears and hesitation, all while expressing her pure excitement for the next chapter of her life. We are so very proud of her and the internal work she has done to make this decision.
Paul and Jenna both discuss what it is like to make a career change while being in a relationship. They talk with us the process of how they responsibly made the decision that the time is now. As well the level of support for each other it took them to make the decision to switch careers. We learn a very communication tricks Jenna and Paul use to constantly check in on each other.
You won't want to miss the ending where Jenna is prompted to tell funny stories about Leah from their childhood. We learn that Leah was a big dork and a lot of fun growing up! It is very clear in this episode that Leah and Jenna are great friends and supportive siblings!
