    Living a life of Freedom!
    1) God has called us to be overcomers!
(Romans 8:31 NIV) What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
(Judges 6:12 NIV) When the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon, he said, “The Lord is with you, mighty warrior!”
    2) God is bigger than anything we face
(Isaiah 37:14-16, 20 NIV)Hezekiah received the letter from the messengers and read it. Then he went up to the temple of the Lord and spread it out before the Lord. And Hezekiah prayed to the Lord : “ Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, enthroned between the cherubim, you alone are God over all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.20 Now, Lord our God, deliver us from his hand, so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you, Lord, are the only God. ”
(2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV) For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love, power, and sound mind
    3) We were made to live in freedom
(Isaiah 61:1 NIV) The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,
(Romans 8:37-39 NIV) No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

    Heart for the house
(John 2:13-17 NLT)[13] It was nearly time for the Jewish Passover celebration, so Jesus went to Jerusalem. [14] In the Temple area he saw merchants selling cattle, sheep, and doves for sacrifices; he also saw dealers at tables exchanging foreign money. [15] Jesus made a whip from some ropes and chased them all out of the Temple. He drove out the sheep and cattle, scattered the money changers’ coins over the floor, and turned over their tables. [16] Then, going over to the people who sold doves, he told them, “Get these things out of here. Stop turning my Father’s house into a marketplace!” [17] Then his disciples remembered this prophecy from the Scriptures: “Passion for God’s house will consume me.”
The church is about God and people.
It’s a place of prayer- connecting and communicating with God.
It’s a place of nations- very large, far reaching, single vision.
The house is meant to be full.
(Luke 14:16-24 NLT)[16] Jesus replied with this story: “A man prepared a great feast and sent out many invitations. [17] When the banquet was ready, he sent his servant to tell the guests, ‘Come, the banquet is ready.’ [18] But they all began making excuses. One said, ‘I have just bought a field and must inspect it. Please excuse me.’ [19] Another said, ‘I have just bought five pairs of oxen, and I want to try them out. Please excuse me.’ [20] Another said, ‘I now have a wife, so I can’t come.’ [21] “The servant returned and told his master what they had said. His master was furious and said, ‘Go quickly into the streets and alleys of the town and invite the poor, the crippled, the blind, and the lame.’ [22] After the servant had done this, he reported, ‘There is still room for more.’ [23] So his master said, ‘Go out into the country lanes and behind the hedges and urge anyone you find to come, so that the house will be full. [24] For none of those I first invited will get even the smallest taste of my banquet.’”
Heart for the one- finding one sheep.
(Luke 15:3-7 NLT)[3] So Jesus told them this story: [4] “If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them gets lost, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others in the wilderness and go to search for the one that is lost until he finds it? [5] And when he has found it, he will joyfully carry it home on his shoulders. [6] When he arrives, he will call together his friends and neighbors, say

    Engagement
    You are almost there!
-Engagement: Declare publicly the intention to get married and start preparation for their wedding
    Start preparing for your marriage
    Marriage Preparation
(Proverbs 11:14) For lack of guidance a nation falls, but victory is won through many advisers.
Understand and find out more about each other
(Matthew 7:12) So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
    Guard your body and soul
(1 Thessalonians 5:23) May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
What is important during the Engagement Phase
    Don’t relax your physical boundaries!!
(1 Corinthians 6:18-20) Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. (19) Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; (20) you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
Jesus is your #1 during your engagement phase
(John 13:34) A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
(1 John 3:16) This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.
Be restored by God if there are any mistakes/problems
(1 John 1:9) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
    Tips for Engagement
Don’t be strangers, keep mixing with your friends
Don’t leave all the wedding arrangements to your fiance. Organize it together.
Have God in the middle of your relationship and enjoy!
(Ecclesiastes 4:12) Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
    Have joy in being YOU!
-it’s impossible to stay “perfect” through your entire marriage.
-Don’t try to receive affection by only showing your good side.
(Proverbs 12:19)Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue lasts only a moment.
(Romans 6:6)For we know that our old self was crucified wi

The power of the seed of God’s words
At the beginning, it’s just really small
(Mark 4:30-32 NLT)Jesus said, “How can I describe the Kingdom of God? What story should I use to illustrate it? It is like a mustard seed planted in the ground. It is the smallest of all seeds, but it becomes the largest of all garden plants; it grows long branches, and birds can make nests in its shade.”
(Galatians 6:7-8 NLT)Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit.
(Mark 4:26-29 NLT)Jesus also said, “The Kingdom of God is like a farmer who scatters seed on the ground. Night and day, while he’s asleep or awake, the seed sprouts and grows, but he does not understand how it happens. The earth produces the crops on its own. First a leaf blade pushes through, then the heads of wheat are formed, and finally the grain ripens. And as soon as the grain is ready, the farmer comes and harvests it with a sickle, for the harvest time has come.”
(1 Corinthians 2:9 NLT)That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”
The heart that the seed will become fruitful in, and the heart where the seed will not
    Asphalt type
(Matthew 13:1-9 NLT)Later that same day Jesus left the house and sat beside the lake. A large crowd soon gathered around him, so he got into a boat. Then he sat there and taught as the people stood on the shore. He told many stories in the form of parables, such as this one: “Listen! A farmer went out to plant some seeds. As he scattered them across his field, some seeds fell on a footpath, and the birds came and ate them. Other seeds fell on shallow soil with underlying rock. The seeds sprouted quickly because the soil was shallow. But the plants soon wilted under the hot sun, and since they di

    Love! The reason for everything!
(1 Corinthians 13:13) And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. (1
    1) Jesus loves you
(John 3:16-17)For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
(Romans 5:8) But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
(John 10:10) The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
    2) Love God and love people!
(Mark 12:28-31) One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?” “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”
(1 Corinthians 13:1-3) If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
    3) Lets share God’s love!!
(Acts 4:20) As for us, we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.”
(John 14:6) Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

    Jesus is our friend
Jesus wants to become your friend
(Mark 10:13-16 NLT)One day some parents brought their children to Jesus so he could touch and bless them. But the disciples scolded the parents for bothering him. 14 When Jesus saw what was happening, he was angry with his disciples. He said to them, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children. 15 I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.” 16 Then he took the children in his arms and placed his hands on their heads and blessed them.
(John 15:15 NLT)I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn’t confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me.
Jesus is a friend who will never forsake you
(Matthew 26:48-50 NLT)The traitor, Judas, had given them a prearranged signal: “You will know which one to arrest when I greet him with a kiss.” 49 So Judas came straight to Jesus. “Greetings, Rabbi!” he exclaimed and gave him the kiss. 50 Jesus said, “My friend, go ahead and do what you have come for.” Then the others grabbed Jesus and arrested him.
(John 15:13 NLT)There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
Become a friend like Jesus for someone
(Philemon 1:17 NLT)So if you consider me your partner, welcome him as you would welcome me.
(Ephesians 4:22-25 NLT)throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. 23 Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. 24 Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy. 25 So stop telling lies. Let us tell our neighbors the truth, for we are all parts of the same body.

The Laugh of unbelief and the laugh of faith
    Laugh of unbelief
(Genesis 17:15-16) God also said to Abraham, “As for Sarai your wife, you are no longer to call her Sarai; her name will be Sarah. (16) I will bless her and will surely give you a son by her. I will bless her so that she will be the mother of nations; kings of peoples will come from her.”
(Genesis 18:10-15) Then one of them said, “I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife will have a son.” Now Sarah was listening at the entrance to the tent, which was behind him. (11) Abraham and Sarah were already very old, and Sarah was past the age of childbearing. (12) So Sarah laughed to herself as she thought, “After I am worn out and my lord is old, will I now have this pleasure?” (13) Then the Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Will I really have a child, now that I am old?’ (14) Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return to you at the appointed time next year, and Sarah will have a son.” (15) Sarah was afraid, so she lied and said, “I did not laugh.” But he said, “Yes, you did laugh.”
    Laugh of faith
(Genesis 21:1-6) Now the Lord was gracious to Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did for Sarah what he had promised. (2) Sarah became pregnant and bore a son to Abraham in his old age, at the very time God had promised him. (3) Abraham gave the name Isaac to the son Sarah bore him. (4) When his son Isaac was eight days old, Abraham circumcised him, as God commanded him. (5) Abraham was a hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him. (6) Sarah said, “God has brought me laughter, and everyone who hears about this will laugh with me.”
-How to learn to Laugh of faith
    1. Learn to laugh at yourself (because you are funny)
(Romans 12:3) For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.
    2. Learn to laugh with God
(Psalm 2:4) The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them.
(Job 39:22) It laughs at fear, afraid of nothing; it does not shy away from the sword.
    3. Let God fill you with laughter
(Job 8:21) He will yet fill your mouth with laughter

The influence of words of faith
(Proverbs 18:21) The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.
1.The tongue is only a small part of the body, but can cause big influence.
(Proverbs 12:18) The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.
(James 3:5-6) Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. (6) The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.
    2. Same mouth, different words.
(James 3:9-10) With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness. (10) Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be.
    3. Heart change = Word change.
(Matthew 12:34) You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.
(Ezekiel 36:26-27) I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. (27) And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.
4.protect your tongue! Speak words of faith!
(Proverbs 21:23) Those who guard their mouths and their tongues keep themselves from calamity.
(Ephesians 5:18-20) Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, (19) speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, (20) always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
