One thing that I love so, so much about running my own business is the endless potential, possibility, and opportunity that comes my way.
On any given day, in amongst my well planned out objectives, there are fortuitous moments for me to embrace and run with.
Of course, the downside to that is that once in awhile you end up in a situation where you've embraced a bunch of amazing opportunities and they're starting to pile up.
And maybe, if you're in my situation, some of the systems that your business life depends on start to act up at the same time.
Yikes.
So, as I've been going through this over the past few weeks, I had to check in with myself and consciously switch my perspective.
I had to get remind myself of my bigger vision in life, why I do the work I do and for who, and to remember to be grateful no matter what.
It would be really easy to fall down the rabbit hole of negativity but I made a choice - I chose to stop negativity in its tracks.
In today's Fresh in Fifteen episode, encouraged by an article I read by Matt Mayberry, I look at that exact process and give you my take on his three suggestions to create a winning and healthy mindset as well as a handful of other tips and tricks to help you overcome or avoid your next mindset pitfall.

As you may know, I recently launched a campaign to preorder my new book The Freedom Plan. So many people generously pledged and we hit 228% funding in 30 days.
One of these people was Gareth Foster, a New Zealand founder of Private Box who shares my same values and desires for freedom. He pledged the 'sponsor a podcast episode'.
So today we get to brag about his cool service that allows you to access your paper mail online, from anywhere!!
Private Box is a mail forwarding company that lets you live where and how you like. They offer street and PO Box addresses in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch (New Zealand).
They can send your mail anywhere, scan your mail to email and can even answer your phone calls for you!
You can get a 30 day trial at www.privatebox.co.nz/freedom
A little background on Gareth - he built his first computer when he was 12. Started his IT degree at 19, got bored, travelled for 2 years (to the UK). Finished his IT degree and a friend came to him with the idea about Private Box. So Gareth built it, then went off traveling again (to Ireland) and 4.5 years later he bought Private Box 4.5. He's also a fellow freedom fighter!
