God's call to Abram came with a promise. God rarely says "do it" without a promise or explanation to accompany the command. Our God does not act in random or irrelevant ways. All his ways are purposeful.

As God promised, Noah and his family are saved. As promised, we (and our families) will be saved as well. Our God is a saving God. Trust in that, for you and your family.

God saves through judgment. Humankind is rightfully blotted out in the flood, but not without hope for a future.
