Wickedness is real. It prevailed in Noah's day and continues into our own. Nevertheless, God always maintains a remnant of those who fear him. His plans cannot be thwarted.

There are some aspects of both the antediluvian world and the spiritual realm that we do not fully understand. Nevertheless, we do know that humankind's natural bent since the Fall is away from God, not toward Him.

Although sin is increasing on the face of the earth, God sets about the task of providing for and preserving a godly lineage through Seth. Ultimately, God is preserving a line from which will arise a Messiah (Savior) for the world.

There are two people: the offspring of the serpent and the offspring of the woman. One will be destroyed and forgotten while the other will live eternally with Christ.

In Genesis 3:20-24 we see that God is both active in removing sin from His good creation and in providing a way back to Himself from our exile. Come home. Return from exile.
