Angels and demons. How much of what we know comes from the Scriptures and how much comes from literature and the movies? Are they real? Are they all around us? How do they interact with our lives? These are some of the questions we will be discussing

There are three examples of the work of the Holy Spirit upon our lives that are evidenced by an external manifestation that Pentecostals and Charismatics calls Tongues. They are the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, the Gift of Tongues, and a Prayer Language. Our discussion tonight talks about what these are, what scriptures reference them, and the questions we have concerning them.

Last week we covered the basics on the Gifts of the Spirit. This week is an open discussion night (Q&A) on the topic.

A topic that has often been divisive in the Church and cause a great deal of discomfort among Christians is the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. This discussions covers some basic truths about the Gifts and their operation in and through our lives.

The preeminent purpose of the Holy Spirit is to produce the character of Christ within us. This may be the greatest supernatural experience we can have. Yet, we often fail to recognize it as such.

After last week's discussion, I (Bruce) thought it important to take some time and fully explain the truths we covered. This session explains how the spirit realm is divided into two ruling "kingdoms"(the Kingdom of Light and the Kingdom of Darkness), our relationship with each, and the role of the Holy Spirit in freeing us and enabling us to live in the Kingdom of Light.

Last week we got into several questions about good and evil in the spirit realm, and a discussion on the Holy Spirit's role in religion. Quite honestly, I (Bruce) didn't handle the conversation well. While I believe everything I said, I could have said some of it better. But it is all here for you to listen to and think about.

We often feel "uncomfortable" with the supernatural aspects of our faith because unconsciously we give more credence to the material than to the spiritual. Yet the Bible tells us that it should be the other way around. In this discussion, we talk about some of the questions associated with the reality of the spirit realm.

What are the "heebie-jeebies"? The dictionary defines it as "a feeling of minor fright, anxiety, nervousness, or apprehension". Often the supernatural side of our faith can feel this way, especially when it comes to the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Tonight we want to discuss what about Christianity gives us the "heebie-jeebies" as an opening to our new series.

How do we live "with God" when we seem to be in a rut, when each day is just like the last and nothing seems to be happening? What does God want from us and how can we experience His presence in our life? These are a few of the questions we discuss in this message.
