We continue our study of Psalms 139 with a focus on the prayer of David: "Point out anything in me that offends you." We often get offended by the behaviors, habits, and attitudes of others, but it's essential to examine ourselves and ask God to reveal anything that may be offensive to Him.
Jesus faced similar opposition from the Pharisees, who were offended by Him because of his background and lack of formal education. But Jesus knew His purpose and mission, and the opinions of the Pharisees didn't matter to Him.
Instead of getting offended, we must practice repentance, tearing down the walls that separate us from God and each other. Let's learn to speak faith-filled words and defeat the lies that threaten our marriages.
