When we live in a bubble, everyone is a Christian and everyone is just like me. When we live in a bubble, we exclude the people that annoy us and the people who are different than us. The bubble is where we live safely, comfortably, with no disagreements. There is no risk in the bubble.

Christ hasn’t called His church to live in a bubble. In Acts 1, Jesus instructs the disciples that they need reach others. We can get so caught up in the comfort of our bubble that we forget the Christian life is not about us living comfortably. Jesus Christ has called us to impact the world.

We all face problems and adversity. Some of our problems are the result of an attack by Satan. Some are the result of sin and errors and mistakes we have made. Some are the result of people who have disappointed us. Some are simply the result of time and chance and circumstance.

Turn your life and hope over to Jesus Christ. There is a solution to your problems. It might not be easy and convenient, but there is a solution today. Don’t lose heart or be discouraged, Jesus has overcome the world.

Every experience in life is valuable; whether it appears so or not. Sometimes, we look at some experience in life; we look at some failure; we look at some mistake; some wrong turn, we look at some disappointment and we think, “That was totally worthless.”

In the book of Ruth, Ruth could have had the same perspective. She struggled greatly in her loss. Through the mess she began to get closer to her mother-in-law Naomi. At the time she might have thought this period of her life was worthless, but God used it to benefit her.

Life is full of transitions, some good, some not so good. God uses each for our good and His glory. Now our vision is a little cloudy, but one day, when we stand before God, we will see how that God has worked in each transition of our life. Horrible circumstances are apart of life. Whether it's through sickness, the loss of a job, financial struggles, separation, or loss of a loved one. Even in our worst circumstances, it can be used to glorify God and be for your good. The circumstance that you are facing is equal to the confidence that God has in you to deal with it.

In Ruth 1, Naomi experienced the lost of her two sons and husband. This terrible experience lead to a great relationship between her and her daughter-in-law Ruth. We might have not wanted to go through the mess, but God can and will bless you through it. When our faithfulness is tested, God will never fail us.

The journey of life is filled with messes, some we create and some are created for us. We might go through seasons that we weren't expecting. Maybe you are walking through the wilderness. Maybe your life has been rerouted by mistakes, wrong turns and disappointments. Give your life to Jesus and make Him the author and the finisher of your life, your Lord and your savior.

How many times have we been disappointed or angry at what seemed to be defeat? But then, you discovered that the disappointment saved you from a bigger disaster or directed you to something even better. Don’t look at failure a starting over rather look at it as a better direction.

No matter what happens, life goes on. We experience circumstances of rerouting and we do not know how to interpret them at the moment. Immediately we want to stamp “Good or Bad” on them. Life is full of rerouting but God is guiding our journey.

In life we face wrong turns, disappointments, and miscalculations. Even though we face these difficulties we can stand firm in what God has for us. No matter what happens, life goes on and on. Things happen to us but we do not know how to interpret them at the moment. They seem good or bad at the moment, but only God knows what greater purpose may be at work.
