It’s a Christmas spectacular!!! No murder this week, instead we talk about a couple of Lifetime Christmas movies! First though, Paul tells us about his pants falling down in his yard. You don’t want to miss that one. Then Erin tells us about Twinkle All The Way, a movie that includes a grown woman named Twinkle, and a same sex married couple. Lifetime killed it with the progress this year! Then Paul tells us the story of Christmas a la Mode, and we walk a fine line between Christmas magic and blatant theft of trade secrets! Make some hot chocolate, maybe pour some whiskey in it, and gather round for some Christmas cheer!

Another week, another hot mess! This week, Erin watched New York Prison Break: The Seduction of Joyce Mitchell, starring pod favorite, Penelope Ann Miller as a prison employee who leaves her perfectly normal husband in favor of 2 sadistic murderers she attempts to help escape from prison. Then Paul tells us the real story of Joyce Mitchell and her lovers, Hacksaw and Sweat (we couldn't make this up if we tried!)

This week we talk about Erin's favorite case! It's got drag! It's got people stealing from the grocery store while also carrying more cash than we've ever seen! It's even got a little bit of Texas! This week, Erin watched The Lost Wife of Robert Durst, a confusing movie about the disappearance of Kathie Durst and the (ALLEGED) murders committed by her husband Robert. We also learn many, many, many times over who inspired the Beatles song 'Dear Prudence'. Then we dive into the true story of Robert Durst his many millions of dollars, creepy voice, and why you shouldn't ever (ALLEGEDLY) confess to murder on a hot mic.

This week's movie was a bust. You'd think with James Van Der Beek, and Levar Burton Lifetime could have done a better job! Erin watched Taken in Broad Daylight, the story of Anne Sluti who was kidnapped by Dawson Leary and rescued by the host of Reading Rainbow. Then Paul tells us the real story of this horrible kidnapper, and his ridiculous attorney. Then we talk about snow because, why not?!

Buckle up because it’s going to be a wild ride! This week Erin watched THE BEST MOVIE EVER, Beautiful & Twisted. It has strippers, it has BDSM, it has Batman, it has drugs, it even has 4 actors that Paul has heard of! And not one, but two gruesome murders. Then Paul tells us the story of the murder of Ben Novack Jr. and his mother Bernice by his crazy wife and her bonkers family.

IT’S CCB WEEK Y’ALL!! This week Erin watched “No One Would Tell” a movie in which a high school aged Candace Cameron (not yet) Bure is murdered by...Kevin Arnold from the Wonder Years?? It’s a 90’s themed wild ride, so buckle up! Then Paul tells us the real story of Amy Carnevale and the roided out douchebag who murdered her. And that’s not the end because then, his mommy tried to break him out of jail. No kidding.

TW: Turn off your Alexa for this one!! This week we celebrate the beginning of It's A Wonderful Lifetime and Countdown to Christmas by covering an incredibly depressing movie/case. Erin watched Murder in the Hamptons and we talk about how gossip really got around before the invention of NextDoor. Erin's Alexa also scares the crap out of her, again. Then Paul tells us the true story of Ted and Generosa, a horrible murder, and the true victims in all of this, the children.

This week, Erin watched Scared Silent, a movie that has all of her least favorite plot points. Terrible police work ✅ multiple sexual assaults ✅ and a dead dog ✅. This movie is set in Minnesota where there is exactly one (1) police officer that can do his job. The rest of them are all terrible. The good news is, our research shows this particular case to not be real (even though it’s listed under “True Story” on the Lifetime app). The bad news is, similar cases have happened and we are going to tell you all about them.
