WHAT I LEARNED FROM MY FIRST JIU JITSU TOURNAMENT
& WHAT IT WILL TEACH YOU ABOUT “DOING THINGS WHEN YOU’RE READY”.
**
This quick episode, of the #StrengthThroughFoodFreedomPodcast, is about what my first Jiu Jitsu tournament taught me.
**
If you listened to my last episode, you learned that I decided to do my first #JiuJitsu tournament on a complete whim, despite the fact that the thought was lingering in the back of my mind over the last few years. You know that thought you have every single day about starting something? Well, if it doesn’t go away, there’s a reason why. It’s because you are meant to do it.
**
“I’ll do it when I’m ready”.
**
“I’ll do it when I’m ready”. Are you tired of saying this to yourself?
**
“ I’ll do it when I’m ready” comes from an emotional state, is avoidant, and comes from a place of feeling the need to be “prepared” that struggiling people wait to feel before they take action.
**
But, can I be real with you?
**
Putting off going to the gym, investing in a coach, or facing your fears to do scary, big things, keeps you safe in your comfort zone because you know on the other side of that, “I’ll do it when I’m ready, is the unknown of what will happen.
**
What if I fail or lose?”
What if I don’t make progress?
What if I’m still not happy?”
What if I still can’t wear that dress? Etc.

TUNE IN through Itunes, Spotify and Google Play, if you’re feeling ready to be empowered.
**
Because you, don’t need to keep putting off your fitness goals and what you REALLY want for yourself.
