Light in the Darkness

The boys sit down with an old friend of Daniel's named Drai.

Drai shares about growing up in a family without spiritual foundation, where substance abuse and fighting were daily occurrences. Despite not having been introduced to Jesus, Drai was always drawn to pray. When he feared for his mother's safety, and later when he was a victim to sleep paralysis, he would instinctively come to the Lord in prayer.

"God always showed up."

When Drai had traumatic visions after getting high, when he experienced an exercise ball move on its own and start spinning in the floor in front of him, when he had a stranger walk in off the street and point a .357 at his head, God always showed up.

This episode points to the power of prayer, and the power of the One we pray to!

Vicki Joy Anderson and “Dark Waters” James Williams are back in this Patreon exclusive members episode to finish up our conversation about spiritual warfare.

Our first discussion revolved around:
-What spiritual warfare is
-Why we engage in it
-How we fight

And today we’re back to continue talking about how to fight, we we know it’s time to go to war, and who we fight with and against.

In this episode we discuss warfare in the mind - vein imaginations, doubt, fear, and anxiety. We discuss the state of the world and signs to look for to begin going on the offensive with spiritual warfare, and we discuss our enemies and our spiritual partners (angels) who we fight along side.

This is a master class from two folks who have gone through the spirit warfare meat grinder and have come out stronger for it!

How does one navigate the spiritual landscape of Egypt, where ancient beliefs and modern faith intersect? Journey with us as we unearth the mystical elements surrounding tomb openings and the essential practice of donning the armor of God. We also delve into the immense challenges of establishing churches in regions with no Christian presence, painting a vivid picture of the dedication required from pastors on the front lines.

Daniel and Cory sit down with Hany Assad, whose story is nothing short of inspiring. From his beginning to minister in the US, to his transformative role as an emissary to Egypt, Hany's journey offers profound insights into the spiritual needs of his homeland. His experiences, marked by encounters with the Holy Spirit, miraculous healings, and facing spiritual warfare, offer a compelling look at the power of faith in action. Moreover, he provides practical advice on how to respectfully share the Christian faith with Muslims, emphasizing love and understanding.

After discussing the process of planting churches in Egypt for as little as $750 a month, we wrap up with a heartfelt discussion on the importance of every member of the body of Christ, reiterating that unseen roles are just as vital as those in the spotlight.

In this episode Daniel and Cory discuss the first of many letters written by Brother Lawrence. This letter among many things reveals how humble Brother Lawrence is and what drives him to act in such a manor. How he walks through life as if it is just himself and the Lord. And how his greatest fear is to offend the God of this universe.

"God used all the things that were tragic to get to me, so to speak. Where the enemy meant to kill and destroy and ruin my life and my family's life, God had a different plan.  And He wanted to use what the name meant for bad, for good."

Cory and Daniel are joined by Jim Cooper. Jim came up multiple times on episode 46, and the boys felt like his story needed to be told.

Jim's life has been filled with traumatic events: car accidents, murder, and suicide, just to name a few. Throughout these tragic events, the Lord has sustained Jim. The Lord has taught Jim to expect Him to make all things work together for good.

Jim now ministers to those who have suffered the same tragedies he has, and he delivers a message of hope.

If you or a loved one's lives have been touched by suicide, you can visit the ministry Jim partners with at  http://touchedbysuicidenc.weebly.com/

Hear about this experience and how the student experienced freedom, as well as stories from Kimberley's childhood when she experienced sleep paralysis, night terrors, and angelic protection during the night!
