Light in the Darkness

Sometimes when you're driving down the road, you need to see a little bit more. That's when you click on the hi-beams.
In this episode that's exactly what Daniel and Cory did with their previous Off Topic episode 11: Thankfulness. You can think of this as an extended cut wherein the boys dig a little deeper into the topic and turn on the hi-beams to see a little bit more than they could before as Thanksgiving approaches.

As a note, Cory realizes he referenced a scripture improperly. It was 1 Thessalonians 5:17 he quoted, not 1 Thessalonians  5:7.

Daniel & Cory’s guest is deliverance minister Sylvie Sudduth. 

Growing up in France, Syvlie was often taken to witch healers when she was a child. Sometimes nothing would happen, and other times she would be healed. These experiences opened her eyes to the reality of the supernatural. 

After spending a season pursuing spiritual paths such as the new age, Sylvie met Jesus and began the process of seeking deliverance. She saw areas of her life where she just could not seem to get breakthrough, and she persistently studied deliverance and sought to walk closer to Jesus to gain the freedom she needed. 

After years of her journey of healing, Sylvie met and married deliverance minister Bill Sudduth and she found herself thrust headlong into ministry. 

In this episode Syvlie discusses generational curses and shares some of the common fruit of participating in the secret society of Freemasonry.

On this episode the boys are joined by Mondo De La Vega. Mondo is the spiritual son of television evangelist Jim Bakker, and he shares his testimony of accepting Christ and walking away from his life in a Los Angeles street gang.

Bridgett Lemos joins Cory and Daniel to discuss dreams and the voice of the Lord. The Holy Spirit has spoken to Bridgett in her dreams for most of her life and has taught her a wealth of knowledge on interpreting dreams.

At a young age Bridgett had her first dream that she realized had significance. It was an invitation to pursue walking with Lord in her dreams. As her hunger for the Holy Spirit grew, so did her dream life. One advantage Bridgett had was being mentored in dream interpretation by a family friend - the prophet Bob Jones. Through books, mentors, and continued teaching from the Holy Spirit, Bridgett has been equipped to minister on the subject of dreams.

More recently the Lord has been leading Bridgett to hear His voice while awake or asleep! She shares about how she has grown to recognize His voice through intimacy with the Lord before she practices hearing His voice by interpreting a couple dreams that Daniel shares with her.

Cory and Daniel have a chat about times in their life where anger got the better of them, and how the the Lord has led them down a path of surrendering their tempers to the Jesus While they are not perfect and still have room to grow in this area, they recognize the importance of yielding to the Holy Spirit and allowing His peace to govern their emotions.
