On the Palm Sunday Service, Pastor Jon Langford talks about Paul  throwing away the trash and embracing the life with Christ.  He calls us  to remind ourselves of three practices in our day to day lives: To know  who you are, to know whose we are and to live like you know where  you’re going. He references Philippians 3:9-16.

This week on the final sermon on the series of Freedom, Pastor John  Townley preaches on spreading the good news around to the general public  and teaches us about how it is not enough to do practical things for  Jesus and we need to be the messengers for him. He references Romans  10:9-17.

Pastor Pete Godfrey talks about the gifts of the spirit calling us to  accept the gifts that God has for us, and using them to impact those  around us both in and out of the Church. He references 1 Corinthians 12,  and this is includes testimony from Phil Laity and Becky Townley on  their experiences of the gifts of the spirit.

Pastor Jon Langford preaches on being an organisation of freedom and how as a church in the UK we’re so often remembered for what we’re against rather than what we’re for. From looking at Isaiah 58, we learn not to be tokenistic and inauthentic in our faith but try and find out where God is asking you to bring freedom?

Pastor John Townley preaches on the living in the freedom of God  and how we can often have more freedom yet still be less free if we  don’t have God with us. He calls us to follow the golden path instead of  following our own and use the golden bricks instead of our own

Pastor Pete Godfrey talks about how we are able to counteract the  feeling of worry through just trusting in God and believing that he is  able to solve the problems you may be facing.

He uses Matthew 6:25-33.

Pastor Pete Godfrey preaches on how we can treat our faith like a  checklist and rather than a relationship and from looking at John 14:  16-17, 2 Corinthians 13-14 and Galatians 5: 16 we learn that though  we can often have a DIY attitude in our beliefs by allowing God to love  us and help us, we are set free.

With the dedication of Brian James McFinnigan, Pastor Pete Godfrey  preaches on why we ourselves dedicated our lives and our families to  God. He describes how He isn’t a God that watches from afar, but even  now He plays an active and intimate role in the creation process of  everyone and everything. With reference to Psalm 139 and Luke 15, we are  shown that God has such an deep and innate love for us that He makes a  way for us to be forgiven and set us free.

Pastor John Townley preaches on how we all can fall short on our own  moral standards much less God’s standards. It is only through God’s  ransom, his unspoiled beauty, that we are redeemed. With reference to 1  Timothy 2 vs 1-6 and Revelation 21 vs 27, we learn that though our sin  deserved punishment, it is through God’s mercy that we are saved.

On this baptism service, Pastor Pete Godfrey talks on seeing our  importance through God’s eyes and being set free from our earthly  standards given by the world which do not correspond with what God wants  for us. He references the book of Galatians and 2 Corinthians 5:17.
