This week is extra special because Jamee and Lauryn are recording TOGETHER in person!!! Lauryn came home for the weekend and they can't wait to tell you a little bit about their low lights, medium lights, and especially their highlights of their weekend together! Then, they take a little trip down memory lane to talk about what their life was like over the last six months or so since the beginning of COVID. Jamee and Lauryn take you through the best and most difficult parts of the quarantine, sharing some funny stories, memorable moments, and even some of their biggest fights (yes, sadly that occurred). But most importantly, they talk about how they got through those challenging times and what they learned about themselves and each other along the way.

Jamee and Lauryn are so excited to be back for episode 2! They start the episode by thanking everyone for all their support from the first episode and sharing their low light, medium light, and highlight of the week. Next, they dive into the topic of the week which is all about how they have remained so close despite Lauryn going away to college. They discuss all the college talk throughout high school, the transition into college, and how they have remained close since. They share tips, tricks, stories, and great advice that you can apply to not just your mother, but anyone who you want to remain close to while away. Jamee shares her own emotional experience and what it's like to be a parent of a college student (as well as a funny story about why Max and Lauryn don't know how to use a dishwasher). And finally, they share how COVID-19 has altered going away to college and what they've done to ensure that everyone is safe and healthy during these crazy times. They finish up the episode by sharing what they're into for the week--for Jamee it's reinvigorating her love for Gilmore Girls and for Lauryn, it's the f-factor diet drama. Stay tuned for next week!
