The counsels and advice in one’s heart.

To reveal and draw out those waters requires a man of understanding- a man who has a Neshama which is completely refined!

Rabeinu discusses the importance of the pidyon nefesh/redemption of the soul, Erich has the capability to sweeten judgements!

Rabeinu teaches us until a pidyon is performed on a sick person, it is forbidden for that person to be healed by doctors/medicine. The reason for this is because it is Heaven who decreed when his healing will take place, by which medicine, and by which person; and it is certain that doctors do not know the intricacies of these judgements being that they are completely Divine.

But by performing a pidyon, we annul the Heavenly judgement, and until a new judgment arises, this sick person can be healed by this doctor and by the medicine he sees fit because there is no decree which obliges this person to be sick for this amount of time anymore…

Rabeinu teaches us that the days of Chanukah are days of giving thanks to G-d, and these days of thanksgiving represent the delights of the World to Come. The more we give thanks and praise and know G-d, the more we are close to Him…
