In Isaiah 61 we hear the voice of the promised servant speak about his mission to bring salvation to God's people. We know from Jesus himself in Luke 4 that this passage of scripture was referring to Jesus. God fulfils his promises, and that means he will make good on his promises for your salvation through faith in Jesus and all the other blessings promised to you in scripture. Do you trust him?

In this message, we learn that through the prophet Isaiah God reveals that because he is unique and there is no other God like Him he will pour out his grace on humanity and send an anointed saviour like Cyrus to save the whole world.

Christmas is a time when we think about joy. But at the end of a long and difficult year joy can seem unattainable! As we look at the Prophet Isaiah's promise of joy for God's people in Is 35, we see that if we look in the right place we can have deep lasting unimaginable joy!

Tasmanian Anglican Diocese Director of Ministry Stephen Carnaby brings us a great message from 1 Tim 6:6-19 about being content in life through trust in God.

In the story of the Rich Man and Lazarus that Jesus tells in Luke 16:19-31 we learn that how we use our money reveals the true state of our heart. For the rich man, his lack of concern for others showed that, like the Pharisee's in Jesus' day, he loved money not God.
