If you haven’t seen Tombstone, or don’t know what the film is about, here is the synopsis…Wyatt Earp and his brothers, Morgan and Virgil, have left their gunslinger ways behind them to settle down and start a business in the town of Tombstone, Ariz. While they aren't looking to find trouble, trouble soon finds them when they become targets of the ruthless Cowboy gang. Now, together with Wyatt's best friend, Doc Holliday, the brothers pick up their guns once more to restore order to a lawless land. The film is loosely inspired by real events.

Tombstone Cocktail (diffordsguide.com):
Ingredients
2 oz Straight Rye Whiskey (100 proof)

1/3 oz Demerara/Muscovado/Brown Sugar Syrup (2 sugar:1 water)

1/2 oz Chilled Water (omit if using wet ice)

2 dashes of Angostura Aromatic Bitters

2 drops of Saline Solution 4:1 (20 g of Sea Salt to 80 g of Water)
Directions
Select and pre-chill a coupe glass.

Prepare garish of lemon zest twist.

Shake all ingredients with ice.

Fine strained into chilled glass.

Express lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

Enjoy

New film out, they just had their premier in LA. You can rent it now on your favorite platform. I got to interview two of the main stars of the film, Leslie Stratton and Monroe Cline. The film is about Sasha, a beautiful young Eastern European who just buried her elderly boyfriend after an unexpected and unexplainable death, and she leaves her life behind to go visit her Los Angeles friends. When she arrives in Los Angeles, it begins to rain, setting off a string of more unexplained deaths and leaving her fighting for her own life as a mysterious woman comes out of the darkness and forces her to face her past.

Dark’n Stormy

Ingredients
2 ounces Goslings Black Seal rum

1/2 ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed

Ginger beer, to top (about 5 ounces)

Garnish: lime wheel

Directions
Add rum and lime juice to a tall glass filled with ice.

Top with the ginger beer.

Garnish with a lime wheel.

Ingredients
2 ounces vodka

1 ounce blue curaçao liqueur

1/2 ounce black raspberry liqueur

Lemon twist, for garnish
Directions
In a cocktail shaker, pour the vodka and liqueurs.

Fill with ice and shake well.

This week I am covering the new film Carry-On that is available on Netflix. It stars Taron Egerton, Sofia Carson, Jason Bateman and more. If you haven’t seen the trailer or heard about the film, it is about an airline TSA agent who is blackmailed by a mysterious passenger who threatens to smuggle a package onto a flight on Christmas Eve. It is filled with action, I enjoyed it, but it was weird to see Jason Bateman as the bad guy, although he tends to play a douchey nice guy, ha. Enjoy the episode, check out the film on Netflix, stay tuned for more episodes and go back and listen to the previous episodes from past seasons.

Ingredients
1 single serving milk or cream (200ml)

1 mini bottle of vodka (50ml)

1 mini bottle of Kahlúa (50ml)

Directions
Drink or pour out a small amount of the milk or cream to make room.

Add the vodka and Kahlúa to the milk bottle.

Shake well and enjoy.

1 single serving of coconut water (200ml)

1 mini bottle of rum (50ml)

1 small carton of pineapple juice (200ml)

Directions
Drink the coconut water down to make space.

This was a fun episode, but it was so long that I broke it into two episodes. Now you get to listen to part 2 this week. We played a little game with IMDb's top grossing 1000 films, play along and see how you do.

Million Dollar Cocktail (cocktailclub.com):
Ingredients
50ml Gin

25ml Sweet Vermouth

20ml Pineapple juice

15ml Grenadine

15ml Egg white

1 Pineapple wedge
Directions
Cut your pineapple ready for garnish.

Fill both your coupe glass and shaker with cubed ice.

Pour all the ingredients into your shaker.

Close the shaker and shake hard for 9 seconds.

Empty the ice from your coupe glass back into the ice bucket. Take off the small top off the shaker and strain out the mix into the coupe.

Garnish with your Pineapple.

This was a fun episode, but it was so long that I broke it into two episodes. So you get part 1 this week. We played a little game with IMDb's top grossing 1000 films, play along and see how you do.

Ingredients

Welcome to season 9! I am almost to my 200th episode! For this season premiere I am covering Addams Family Values, because I wanted to do a Thanksgiving themed film, well this one is a bit of a stretch but it has a Thanksgiving play in the dead of summer. This film has some unexpected stars as children and others were just early in their career, enjoy seeing them so young.

Black Widow Cocktail (zestysouthindiankitchen.com):
Ingredients
For blackberry juice:
1/2 tablespoon of lemon juice

1/2 cup blackberries
For black widow cocktail
1 oz simple syrup

4 oz blackberry juice

2 oz vodka

Ice

Blackberries for garnish
Directions
Blackberry juice
To make blackberry juice In a blender add black berries and lemon juice and process fine and strain it .
Black widow cocktail
Then in glass filled ice add blackberry juice, simple syrup and vodka and mix with stir and garnish with blackberries and enjoy

If you can get hold of dry ice use it just before serving.

This week I am joined by Danielle, a formal journalist, who I met at the ATX TV Festival, and she wanted to cover one of her favorite movies, Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead.

If you don't know what the film is about, here is the synopsis: Sue Ellen Crandell (Christina Applegate) is a teenager eagerly awaiting her mother's (Concetta Tomei) summer-long absence. While the babysitter (Eda Reiss Merin) looks after her rambunctious younger siblings, Sue Ellen can party and have fun. But then the babysitter abruptly dies, leaving the Crandells short on cash. Sue Ellen finds a sweet job in fashion by lying about her age and experience on her résumé. But, while her siblings run wild, she discovers the downside of adulthood.

White Wine Spritzer:
Ingredients
3 parts Sauvignon Blanc

1 part club soda

Lime wedge
Directions
Pour wine into an ice filled wine glass.

Top with club soda, and garnish with a lime wedge.

Or you could always make a martini & rossi on the rocks, that is both sweet and dry.

Bored housewife seduces hot pizza guy for free pizza, but is desire worth $29.99? Do I have your attention yet? This short film was fantastic! It was cheesy, gooey, funny, and full of parmesan and tomato sauce. This was such a fun interview and I hope that one day you can all watch this short film.

Pizza Anytime

Ingredients
For the Parmesan Salt
¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

2 Tbsp. kosher salt
For the cocktail
1 Tbsp. everything bagel spice mix, plus more for garnish

2 oz. vodka

4 oz. marinara sauce

¾ oz. fresh lemon juice

⅛ tsp. hot sauce

1 lemon wedge

Parmesan Salt

Pork pepperoni slice and lemon wedge, for garnish
Directions
The Parmesan Salt
In a small bowl, combine the Parmesan and salt.

Using the tips of your fingers, smoosh the salt and cheese together until evenly mixed. (Alternatively, you can use a spice grinder or mortar and pestle, if available.)
The cocktail
In a glass or small bowl, combine the everything bagel spice and the vodka.

Let sit for 10 minutes to infuse, then strain the vodka through a fine-mesh strainer into a shaker, discarding the solids.

Add the marinara sauce, lemon juice, and hot sauce. Shake briefly, without ice, to combine.

Use a lemon wedge to moisten the rim of a tall glass and then dip it in the Parmesan Salt to coat the rim.

Fill the glass with ice and pour in the contents of the shaker.

Garnish with a pepperoni slice and a lemon wedge on a pick and sprinkle some everything bagel seasoning over the top.

Serve with a bubble tea straw.

But when a mysterious door appears in her kitchen, Kara becomes obsessed with uncovering what lies behind it at any cost. Even as it threatens to reopen old wounds. The Mystery Martini (saq.com):
Ingredients
45 ml (1 1/2 oz.) dry gin

15 ml (1/2 oz.) herb liqueur (like green Chartreuse)

45 ml (1 1/2 oz.) white cranberry juice

Ice cubes

1 slice of kiwi
Directions
Combine gin, herb liqueur and cranberry juice in a shaker filled with ice.

Shake vigorously for 8 to 10 seconds.

Strain into a Martini glass using an ice strainer.

Garnish with kiwi slice.

Or a glass of Red Wine
