An unprivileged user can use unshare(CLONENEWNS|CLONENEWUSER) to enter a namespace with the CAPSYS_ADMIN permission, and then proceed with exploitation to root the system.

All Roads Lead to Arch: The Evolution of Linux Distros Used for Gaming Over Time — Not only has Arch Linux gained progressively some share to be solidly at 20% now for several months, but the whole landscape looks a lot like Arch derivatives now.
