Welcome back Biddies to a super fun episode with my guest makeup artist and founder of B3 Balm, Julia Dalton-Brush!  Aside from Julia being a total gem of the artistry community, she has so much to say about her journey from owning a construction management company, to being a makeup artist, to creating her own agency Brush Beauty, and now her highly successful all natural skincare line B3 Balm!  Julia and I talk about today's beauty standards in social media, reaching out to artists you may want to assist or be mentors, cultivating your community and how she cooked up her first lip balms in her own basement!  I love how Julia's brand speaks to her values in activism and reaching out to the community whether it's giving back to local charities or providing first responders with skincare during the height of COVID.  This episode is not one to miss!

About our guest:

I've always loved makeup. I first got a taste for professional work when I did my little cousin's makeup for her Miss Teen New York pageant run. After deciding to follow my passion, I got certified through a New Jersey based bridal team in 2015.

Working, learning, and honing my craft has been amazing. My artistry has allowed me to work for runway shows, work on editorial shoots, boudoir shoots, and to be apart of so many beautiful brides' special days. I started doing makeup to share my talent, knowledge and experience with the world through artistry and my blog, but it has become so much more.

In 2020, I decided to re-brand, and thus Crown Makeovers was born. I'm excited to continue my journey in Atlanta, Georgia.
