John is worried about the cost and time it will take to fix. The next day, John goes to town to buy a new fuel pump. Once the part arrives, Tom returns, and they work together under the hot sun to replace the pump. After a few hours, the truck is fixed, and the engine roars to life. John feels relieved and grateful for his friend’s help and is happy that the old truck will keep running for a little longer.
