I tried reading this while lying in bed at night but it would get the wheels turning in my head and I'd want to get up and do something, so I had to stop. Instead, I read one chapter every morning before starting my day and reaped the productivity boost, every day satisfied at how much I could accomplish before noon. It wasn't an easy thing to do, reading only a chapter a day, because once you get to know some of Eric's background and learn of the disastrous, life-threatening upset that befell him, you want to know more of his story: it truly is inspirational.

A nice addition to the personable, motivating story and the excellent quotes that were found throughout, was the research and numerous case studies that reinforced several gems of life-changing advice. And if you are feeling too old, that it's too late to achieve a desire of yours, you'll change your mind or be reminded that it's never too late But the biggest thing I took away from the read is how little I've been doing to achieve my goals, when really I thought I was quite disciplined at working to meet them. But I could've been doing a whole lot more. A change in mindset and a look into one exceptional man's life was key.

Great read

I just read Eric Laughton's book, "The 4 Ms of Success." This book is a great read. It is clear and easy to understand. The author packs the wisdom from his life experiences and his own research and readings into this excellent summary of success philosophy. It is almost a 'digest' of many other self-improvement books. There is no wasted verbiage; only clear discussion of simple but profound and powerful concepts. I found it easy to understand and while I have come across and used some of the ideas he discusses, I think in this book they are gathered together in an entertaining and easy to apply format. The book is well worth the purchase price and may help anyone by giving them tools to help achieve their dreams. Nice job Eric.

More than a book for love!

If you could sum up ReLovenship in three words, what would they be?

Powerful, Self-Reflective, Visionary

What was one of the most memorable moments of ReLovenship?

I am in a stable and fulfilling relationship but I was told that the book's methodology can be applied in other areas of life. For one it certainly helped me improve my relationship, but the biggest takeaway for me was to understand that we own our lives. We are accountable of our results. So if we want to improve something, a relationship or anything else, we have to start looking within ourselves first.

What does Christopher Sutton and Joey Schaljo bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

I first thought it was read by the authors because they sounded so natural. I really love having two narrators bringing a feminine and masculine perspective.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The story of Diane with her Dad on their way to church for her first marriage really left an impression on me. I want to make sure now to hear out the people closest to me before taking important decisions.

Beyond Inspirational: This is a Real Tool Kit!

If you could sum up ReLovenship in three words, what would they be?

I love the personal tone of this audiobook. Listening to it, I often feel as if this was written especially for me... I keep going back to it because there is so much good content and ideas. I just love it because it gives me the tools and confidence to move forward with my love life.

The "self-worth multiples your love-worth" is huge for me. I now understand everything starts with me.

Inspirational and uplifting!

I happen to be lucky enough to live near Carol and have attended many of her workshops and am a member of the wholistic women's group she founded with 4 other life coaches about 4 years ago. Carol's book is a true reflection of her belief system that we are all striving to be the best we are meant to be and that each of us is on our very own journey with our unique way of getting to where we are meant to be. As Carol would say "we are all exactly where we are meant to be". It was very inspirational to read and relate to many of Carol's life experiences and it was amazing to me how her book touched so many of my friends in so many different ways!

So much more than just a great story

With the first reading I skimmed and skipped the personal reflection questions at the end of each chapter, eager to follow Carolâs story. Crying, laughing, and cheering her on, I was easily drawn into this inspirational story told with humor and candor. A quick read.

The second reading is slower, drawing on Carolâs illustrated experiences and considering her reflection questions to ponder my own journey. A great tool for my own private retreat or for group discussions. I 've purchased multiple copies to share with friends and family.

Nice read

A friend gave this book to me. I liked the title, wasn't sure about the whole subtitle thing about discovering strength and love. I'm really tired of reading those kinds of books. Anyway, I opened the book to a random chapter, which happened to be about the close relationship between between the author and her mother and a trip they took to Germany. I read it the day after Mother's Day and so it held particularly meaning for me because my mom and I are also really close. So that was nice. I wound up going back to the beginning of the book and reading it through. It's definitely worth a read and I've actually purchased it for a couple of other friends and they've both enjoyed it.

One heads-up, though.
